This lovely apartment, located on the first floor, has beautiful views over the countryside, is right on the water and offers plenty of privacy. Through the front door, you enter a spacious hall where you walk up the stairs and enter the apartment. Through the hallway, you reach the bedroom with a comfortable double box spring bed. Opposite the bedroom is the toilet with the spacious bathroom next to it. At the end of the hallway is the spacious cozy living room with kitchen and also two sleeping places.

With a magnificent view over the countryside in the characteristic landscape of the Frisian Forests, it is wonderful to relax. The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

Rural accommodation on the Frisian Elfstedenroute

Our rural farmhouse is located within walking distance of Bolsward town centre, on the Workumertrekvaart, the original Frisian Eleven Cities Route. In this rural, water-rich area, we offer you a spacious room equipped with a large double bed (2 × 0.90 m), a TV/sitting area, and a brand-new bathroom with a Jacuzzi. Additional sleeping accommodation is possible. We created this new space in our former cowshed, which adjoins our private residence.

The Carriage House near Leeuwarden

Rural location on the Elfsteden route, on the edge of the Leeuwarder forest we rent out our "6 person coach house". The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south. Do you want to stay in a quiet environment where nature plays the main role then this apartment is for you. We, Ate and Gerda are owners since 2016 and have made our farm in Jelsum completely sustainable.

Sleeping with the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Waking up overlooking the dining room of a herd of horses living in freedom, 2 pigs making their bed every night in front of the window and sometimes a sheep walks by. Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no WiFi and no TV. There is a large table to play games together and a lovely sofa to drink a glass of wine together. This unique accommodation has its own style. Located on the dike, just 250 meters from the Wad, a world heritage site. The apartment is located in the front house of the former Dijkwachtershuis, known as «'t Strandhuus». Private front garden and private front door with hall. Adjacent to the kitchen and the bathroom. Next to our small natural campsite (only open during the summer holidays) is a beautiful holiday home surrounded by nature. Jurjen has made the cottage all by himself and made sure that you can completely relax. The kitchen is a real “Oldtimer” but also with oven. The wood-fired Hottub can be rented separately for €90,- for a weekend and €120,- for a midweek/week.
