My place is less than one mile from snowmobile trails and you can begin your day of riding right from the house. There is plenty of parking for multiple trucks with trailers. You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, the outdoors space, and the neighborhood. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.

The Back 80 Cabin

Beautiful, newly remodeled, cozy house in the woods. Located about 15 minutes from Munising and 10 minutes from Au Train. Very quiet location in the woods with trails to walk and a small creek running through the property Sleeps 8 people. The area offers lots of outdoor activities, including Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Alger County has 13 waterfalls and lots of hiking, boating, and fishing. Snowmobile/ATV trails are accessible from the cabin, 2 miles north on a dirt road. No pets!!

Great spot for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, ice climbing or just watching the snow fall on the lake from the comfort of your living room.

Bedroom 1 has king bed and bunk beds with a sliding barn door separating them, while bedroom 2 has a queen bed. This home has a beautiful view overlooking Furnace Lake, but does not have lake access. The home has a large deck on back with a heated 4'+ above ground pool that is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Less than 5 miles from Munising, the western beginning of Pictured Rocks

3 - 1/2 miles North of US-2 Perfectly nested in a beautiful country setting with pull in driveway with a large area for parking. Plenty of FREE firewood for the firepit for relaxing around a fire in the evening under the stars. Maple Leaf is centrally located 1 hour or less to U.P. attractions. South Manistique Lake which is 2 miles north of cottage. You can access the trails from the south of cottage 300 feet on a scenic trail in the woods about 2 miles turn left or right to find the trails.

Winter months include accessing snowmobile trails from your front door, nearby downhill and cross country ski venues and snowshoeing. Curl up by a crackling fire at days end. Spring brings day trips to beautiful waterfalls. Fall brings hunting to mind. Plenty of wooded areas for bird and deer hunting.

Built in 1974, this rustic and architecturally unique cabin is an all wood modified A-Frame nestled in the woods of the Upper Peninsula. Floor to ceiling windows and a lofted second floor allow natural light and gorgeous views of Lake Superior. Enjoy our sandstone swimming hole in the summer, or the cast iron wood stove in the winter. Located 20 minutes from Marquette and 30 minutes from Munising, our home offers a quiet place to relax and feel close to nature.

The house is conveniently located right next to Indian Lakes Golf Course. The first hole is just a stone’s throw away from our back porch. Imagine relaxing in the family room, where you’ll have a breathtaking view of the lake and can even catch a glimpse of golfers on the course. For some outdoor adventure, come ice fishing on Indian Lake or go snowmobiling! We’re also just two miles away from the Haywire Grade Trail, perfect for some thrilling off-road fun.
