Just across the road is a bus stop, with regular buses to Hathersage, Castleton and the Peak District.

Huthwaite Grange was built for the owner of the internationally important Wortley Top Forge which stands opposite. The Grade 1 Listed Top Forge dates back to the seventeenth century and is the world’s oldest surviving water powered iron forge. The house is a great place to get together with friends and family. We can often accomodate early and late checkout so please do ask about that when you make your enquiry.
