Irene’s home is very warm and beautiful, nicely themed house with her life experiences all over the world, it was beautiful chatting with her.A very friendly lady, accommodating me last minute, I was also offered a wonderful humble meal , would stay again in the future!

Had a fantastic stay at Pondon Mill this weekend. We were made to feel so welcome, the breakfast was fantastic. We did establish our dog is scared of cats, but as Barbara suggested we just need to get one of our own to train him. We will definitely be returning. Amazing setting, lovely people. Fantastic place to stay with so much history. Thank you for having us!

Lorely’s place was the perfect long weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. She and her husband were friendly, flexible, helpful and always so responsive to messages. The home is as beautiful as the photos - such a wonderfully interesting space! Unwinding in front of the fire every evening was on of our favourite things to do. We also fell totally in love with Lulu the cat. She is an outdoor cat and apparently happy to stay away if guests aren’t up for her to be inside, but we simply adored her and loved when she graced us with visits. Cuddly and delightfully chill. Our 4 year old managed the curvy staircase well and thought it was fun to sleep on the pull out. Beds were comfortable and it stayed a good temp all night. Fridge is small and there were limited basic ingredients available so not really set up for a full food shop, but it was fine for a short trip. Shop is only a 5 min drive away and easy enough to grab dinner from every day. Loved our stay - thank you!

Nice house in fantastic grounds which provided for wonderful runs and walks on private paths each day.

My partner and I booked Clare’s place for a quiet stopover after an evening at the Aquasana forest spa and it was perfect for us! Just 10 mins away from it! Self check-in was super handy as we got there a bit later in evening and it was very private and spacious and lovely place to chill out after our day. Lovely place and a great touch with some light breakfast and beverage options included! Amazing value and would recommend to anyone staying in the area!

Andrea was an incredible host. So kind, helpful and warm, she made me feel right at home. She was also incredibly helpful on recommendations for things to do in the area. The space was lovely, cozy and quiet. I’d highly recommend.

Would defo stay here again - great airbnb and great host

Very pleasant host, willing to help. Some negotiation about our dogs, which was resolved. We particularly liked having our own access door to the annex room. The room had everything required and a very comfy bed.

Juliette and Nick’s loft is a peaceful and comfortable space in a safe and affluent residential area of Bramhope. There is a lovely view through large windows looking out over gardens, fields and hills. The breakfast was generous and I enjoyed the nice toiletries. I also appreciated the plants, books, ornaments and thoughtful touches which made it a homely and welcoming place to be. Juliette and Nick were really hospitable and all communication beforehand was great too. We recommend the loft as a fab place to stay and look forward to returning ourselves one day.

Really nice place and close to Alton Towers as well as really quite at night. The room is clean and tidy. well served breakfast and nice kind friendly communication. will come and stay again next time and recommend to my friend.

Stayed one night whilst attending a championship Dog show at Stafford Showground. Sarah was very accommodating and helpful from initial enquiries to the actual stay. Would definitely recommend

Practica was a fantastic host. The venue was fantastic and spotless top to bottom. With the area being very rural and no option for taxi's she kindly offered a lift to our destination. She is very kind and a lovely host. Highly recommend staying here.

Convenient location to the centre of Manchester. Everything as described in the listing. Whilst I didn’t get to meet Debbie, she was still in touch making sure my check-in through to check-out process was all smooth sailing.

This was such a beautiful place to stay with stunning surroundings and a luxurious room. The hosts were incredible, going above and beyond in every way. From the homemade cake and flapjack in the bedroom, to the 3 course breakfast full of homemade treats- everything was perfect! And to top it all off Kelly made such an effort to bake and provide gluten free options too. Thank you David and Kelly for such a wonderful getaway. X

Having stayed at Ken’s last year I booked to stay again this year as it’s very close to Lilleshall National Sports Centre, ken and his wife are great, they have a lovely clean comfortable home, I am staying again in a couple of months time as it’s my go to place when in Telford

We enjoyed staying with Andrew and sue they are very friendly and helpful, it’s a lovely area with lots of places to visit. The accommodation was first class.

Enjoyed our stay even though it was only one night. Very conveniently located in town and is in a lovely peaceful setting. The room was very nice and very comfortable in a nice garden setting. The parking space was good. We had a good evening meal at the Rutland arms just up the road. The fully cooked breakfast was plentiful and tasty and worth the short walk down the road. We would definitely return again. Thank you.

What a find! Wish I'd stayed with Susan instead of traipsing around for 2 days. Super friendly, super everything. Great to have a diy breakfast. Top dollar. xx

This was our first experience of an airbnb and we were only stopping over for 1 night. If we'd had the opportunity to stay longer, there is no doubt that Tracey would have been able to explain how an airbnb works. My personal opinion (which has absolutely no reflection on Tracey) was that It felt intrusive staying in somebodys house. However, should we need to stay in that area again, we would absolutely stay with Tracey again without hesitation. Tracey offered to look after our dog for the evening which we thought was far beyond our expectations. As our dog is new to us and very tempremental we decided to not leave him, however, we would have not hesitated to leave our previous dogs for the evening. Tracey is obviously very caring. If it had not been such a quick visit to Stoke, we would undoubtably have enjoyed Traceys company and had more time to enjoy the perfect accommodation she provided us with. Thank you Tracey and we hope to see you on our next visit.

A gem of a place at the base of the Yorkshire Wolds, an area worth exploring in its own right! If it's not for the footpaths over the hills and through the vales, it could be for the buddhist temple and cafe, or for the hospitable villages dotted around and in the countryside. In Shiptonthorpe itself there is even a renowned garden centre and a restaurant. Richard and Neil provide you with a spacious room with bath suite in your 'own' corner of the upper floor, stylishly furnished with luxuriouis touches. To spoil you even more they provide breakfast for you, giving you a great start of your day. Don't look further, stop over at theirs!
