The setting of this cosy small detached cottage is beautiful and you feel quite secluded, yet the village of Edale is 1 minute walk away. From here you can enjoy the countryside by walking or biking, short or longer routes. A folder in the cottage has a selection of maps, which you are welcome to use and choose a route straight from the door. The Huts are situated on gentle grass banks in a mixed apple/pear/plum orchard. The main path leads up to a field for tent pitches if you have extra guests with spectacular views of the Peak District. Fernilee Hut has a double bed, table and chairs and a wood stove. The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.
