Enjoy the entire lower level duplex and use of the back yard with patio set for dining. Please note the upper tenant may also want to use this space so this area could be shared. We would love to greet you but are also fine with allowing you to access with a code on the front door. We live nearby and are happy to make suggestions for dining or things to do. Located near numerous restaurants, and Balboa Park, Hillcrest, the zoo, Downtown, Little Italy, and the Convention Center are all within 10 minutes. Be at the beach in less than 15 minutes. The bus line runs up First Ave for easy access to Downtown and Uptown. Near trolley and train station. We are within 10 minutes to the San Diego International Airport and a quick Uber ride to Downtown, Little Italy. Walk to the heart of Hillcrest, Balboa Park and the Zoo. Be at the beach in less then 15 minutes. Central location near the I-5, I-163 & I-8. Because of the hardwood floors, you will hear the footsteps above. Welcome! Our house has an amazing private patio/deck flanked by 9 palm trees. The house has central a/c & heat, a fully-equipped modern kitchen, two private bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom with ensuite bathroom is separate from the rest of the house by the private patio. 2 bicycles with helmets are here as well. The house is located in the Hillcrest neighborhood - easy access to shops, restaurants, and bars of Hillcrest and North Park, the San Diego Zoo, and Balboa Park.

The cottage features full amenities that include: Tempurpedic™ queen-size bed. Wi-Fi, Smart TV, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, wet bar, coffee maker, toaster, and iron. Window seat for sitting, reading or lounging. Private entrance and patio connecting to a courtyard and Japanese garden. Spacious bathroom with 12 foot high tiled shower. French doors open to a private sitting area. If the days are booked in the cottage we might have an opening at, Mikes House and Garden.

Dog friendly in heart of Hillcrest

This is a dog friendly home with no extra dog fees and a great backyard that is strictly yours and your pups to enjoy. Airbnb calls it a guest suite but it is one room that is attached to the back of my house with private entrance, deck, private bath, microwave, frig, keurig machine with pods (no kitchen) and one free off street parking space big enough to fit a Ford F-150 trucK. There is some highway noise outside but windows are double-paned, so quiet inside. Smoking is fine outside.
