The beautiful Lake Constance and the high mountains in the rear Bregenz Forest connect directly to the low mountain location. At the hut, our family and guests enjoy the enchanting tranquility. The conversations by the fire invite you to reflect and the children lose themselves in their fantastic worlds around the witch's house.

The Eixer am Bödele holiday home belongs to the municipality of Schwarzenberg in Austria and is located in the immediate vicinity of the Bödele ski resort. The idyllic holiday home is surrounded by the mountains of the Bregenzerwald and offers a warm, cosy atmosphere for people seeking peace, nature and authenticity.

Rustic farmhouse with distant views

The approximately 400-year-old farmhouse, which is located at almost 700 meters above sea level, was partially renovated in 2019. The rustic base was skillfully combined with modern elements. The house is ideally furnished for family vacations of up to 6 people. Of course, groups, couples and individuals are also very welcome. The house impresses with a spacious swing which is kept very close to nature. For children, there are various play options in and around the house.

Log cabin idyll in the garden, off into nature

Cosy, uncomplicated accommodation in a quiet, rural location – ideal for hikers, cyclists and active holidaymakers. Hiking and cycling trails start right on the doorstep, and the mountain railway is only about 5 minutes away. Restaurants, a pizzeria, a small grocery shop and a bakery are just a few minutes' walk away. The historic old town, royal palaces and museums are about 15 km away. The morning crowing of our rooster is, of course, part of the rural idyll.

Beautifully located vacation cottage, with rustic simple amenities. You are away from the hustle and bustle, but still quickly in the village to get fresh rolls, etc. Great starting point for smaller hikes and about 5 minutes from the Alpsee. In winter when there is snow, you cannot drive to the hut. Then you have to walk about 10 minutes. Luggage transport is possible by arrangement. Heating is with wood, in the bathroom there is a small electric fan heater.

Nestled in the tranquility of the mountains, our house offers the perfect retreat for nature lovers. With four cozy double bedrooms, it is ideal for families or groups. The well-equipped kitchen invites you to cook together, while our two bathrooms offer enough space for privacy. Spend convivial evenings in our rustic living room. A highlight is our large terrace, which offers a breathtaking view of the majestic mountains - the perfect place.

Shepherd's hut "Gräbele" near Wolfegg

Wake up in the morning overlooking the Achtal and enjoy the view of Wolfegg Castle all the way to the Allgäu Alps. You can set up the chair and table in or in front of the trailer and take a break from everyday life on the edge of the donkey pasture. If you would like an organic quality breakfast (€15/person), you can order it from us on site or buy something for your stay in our organic shop. It's worth staying more than one night...

The cottage is located in beautiful Kühberg, just a seven-minute walk from the Oybele-Halle car park. A perfect place for relaxing, listening to the sound of the Trettach river and the birds chirping while enjoying the beautiful view of the mountains. The hiking trails lead directly from the front door into the picturesque Oytal or Trettachtal valleys. The outdoor fireplace or the crackling fireplace indoors invite to spend cosy hours.

In addition to the Birkenhof apartments, there is also a rustic log house for rent, which can accommodates 5 to 13 people. It has a kitchen, a living room with tiled stove, bathroom, toilet, hallway and 4 bedrooms. The outdoor area with campfire place, meadow and forest as well as of course the parking spaces are at all guests' disposal. Outside in front of the log cabin, the WiFi from the Birkenhof can also be used!
