Cabin holiday rentals in Austria

We arrived as a family of four. Arrived in the crisp cottage, we were surprised by the wonderful view, the really very nice and lovingly furnished house and the horses. We felt very comfortable at all times and can absolutely recommend this accommodation. Thank you very much Manuela. We will be happy to come back.

Madleyn and Matthias' place is amazing. It's a perfect place to treat yourself to a break from fast-paced everyday life. The "hot bathtub" outside was a total highlight for our 11 month old son, as was the cuddly cows right by the garden fence. The area offers many hiking opportunities and excursion destinations. You only have to plan time if you want to go somewhere by car because the driving times there are quite long because of the winding roads. Madleyn had informed us in advance that it could snow (early September🫣) and also during the stay the two were very helpful. We can definitely recommend this place.

We felt comfortable! Communication with Nicolet was quick, helpful, friendly! The cabin was clean, beds, pillow, mattresses comfortable! After a busy day on the nearby slopes, the sauna was very relaxing! Always happy to come back!

We are a young couple and the accommodation offered exactly what we were looking for. Peace and privacy. The cottage is super cozy and the views breathtaking. Highly recommend!

The host was great, he was very polite and was ready to adapt to our needs. The house was very cozy and beautiful. The location is great if you are planing to travel by car otherwise it is quite remote.

We had a very nice time in the cottage. The two children enjoyed the animals & the many play opportunities on the outdoor area. It was all very clean and well maintained and even more beautiful than in the pictures. Thanks to the sauna and hot tub, we were able to relax well and the view was fantastic on all sides!

We just spent a few super nice days at Faunus Hof. There were seven of us there, for my mother's birthday, and all generations enjoyed it:) You have the big house to yourself, there is enough space for retreats, but of course you can also sit comfortably in the kitchen or living room together. The tiled stove makes everything very homely. We also made use of sauna and hot tub, so wellness feeling included! The dogs and cats that stop by every now and then were perfect for us, grandma and children enjoyed the petting:) Teresa and Michael made us feel very welcome, they were always available and the local tips for bush taverns, walks, etc. were of course very helpful. Unfortunately, not everything went out...Yoga, swimming in the pond...i.e. we have to come again!

The chalet is very nicely decorated, with lots of details. Modern kitchen and bathroom. Simply GREAT! The wellness area is very clean and relaxing!

We felt very comfortable with René. We didn't miss anything, the cabin has everything you need. A cozy cabin in a beautiful location. We were very nicely received with our two dogs and we will be happy to come back.

We spent five wonderful days in the troad box and couldn't have asked for a better place for our little getaway. Since we were sick, we were looking for a quiet retreat to relax far from the city – and that is exactly what we found here. Gisella and her family are incredibly warm and made us feel at home from the first moment. Already on the first day we were supplied with fresh milk and eggs from our own farm. A very special highlight for our two-year-old daughter was the close contact with the animals. She loved time with the cows, calves and other farm animals above all. We were even allowed to be there while milking. The surroundings are fantastic, with a breathtaking view that helped us to really disconnect and recharge. My husband was delighted with the wood-burning stove, which not only made the house cozy, but also provided a cozy atmosphere.

There were four of us at the alpine hut for a week and we loved their location and amenities! Everything worked as described by Hansi & Elke, their compiled information material about the cabin and activities in the area were perfect, both were always immediately available for inquiries and extremely friendly. A special highlight was the south-facing terrace with its incredible panoramic view. The cabin was equipped with all the things you need and fully matched the description and photos. We can only recommend the stay in the authentic and very cozy accommodation and wish Hansi & Elke all the best!

Upon arrival at the ederhof, we were immediately warmly welcomed by Peter and his wife, they are very sweet and nice people who are also very helpful. The accommodation was perfect exactly as described in the listing for a week in the mountains, 🏔️ but the city of lienz is also a stone's throw away where to experience is so all in all a top vacation! We will definitely be back! Peter&Andrea thank you for the great time on your farm!

The house was as described, everything is fine, we had 3 lovely days as a family.

We felt very comfortable in a lovingly restored little cottage with great views. The communication with Ute was very nice and straightforward.

We loved this place, most peaceful and calm. All your needs are catered for, its a cosy home from home. Large garden and perfect for traveling dogs. Id book this again without question! Excellent value.

Clean, well appointed cabin in an absolute quiet location, always getting friendly and quick responses. We had a great extended weekend here and are looking forward to the next time!

A special accommodation in a special place. Wonderfully quiet, but enough within driving distance. We went to the Glacier and with the children we were in the fantastic serfaus, fiss, ladis. From the cottage you also have wonderful walks. We did it to the waterfall. That was great. The cottage itself was cozy and cozy. Everything was available to make it enjoyable to us. Both summer and winter top?! Oh and Christa was great! Short but powerful, fast and proactive. Thank you

We had a fantastic stay with Daniela and her family.... The cabin is about a 10-15 minute walk from the farm, but can also be reached by car, but snow chains are recommended in winter. We were traveling with our 3-year-old son who loved the stay. The cottage is lovingly decorated, everything is available for self-catering. The living room is heated with an oven, which has given us great pleasure. The area is worthwhile for excursions of all kinds, rowing, ice skating, etc. Also good restaurants are nearby (10-15 min drive). The farm stables were freely accessible, there is fresh milk and very trustworthy cats. A special thank you goes to Grandpa Friedel, who also took great care of us. Lastly, a hot bath under the clear starry sky was really great. We will be back :-)

We had a fantastic stay with our two children aged 6 and 8. Kati and Martin do that great, we felt completely at home there. At the cottage, there are many toys for the children, the swimming pool in the village is within walking distance, really a plus. Communication was also very smooth with Martin. In the area there are so many activities to do for the children, the walk to the waterfall Treffling was beautiful. The sauna with cold plunge pool at the cottage was also very nice. We can only recommend this stay!

The accommodation in the middle of nature leaves nothing to be desired. The interior design invites you to linger while the vital, green landscape awakens the wanderlust. Viktoria is accommodating, attentive and easily accessible. We were allowed to experience a fantastically romantic stay in their cabin.

We felt very comfortable at the cabin in the slow cabin life with sporting activities during the day and game evenings. Rudolf and his daughter Eleonore looked after us very well and even picked us up in Schwaz due to arrival by public transport. Highly recommend staying at the Astenhütte!

We had a very relaxing few days on the alpine pasture, the house is great, very cozy, tastefully furnished and clean, the location unique! Absolute tranquility and great views. Hikes and ski tours can be done away from the house, skiing is about 25 to 45 minutes by car, depending on the ski resort. Verena was very attentive and easily accessible. Highly recommended for nature lovers and outdoor athletes, especially for tourers.

We stayed for 5 nights in this fantastically cozy cabin. We felt very comfortable from the first moment. The view is out of this world!!!
