Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Honolulu

Charlie was a great host, very communicative and had amazing recommendations. The apartment is in a fantastic location by the beach, including within the building on a high floor + corner unit. We loved the floor to ceiling views of the ocean, city, and mountains, as well as the balcony. Like others have said, the bed is very soft, and since you’re in the middle of Waikīkī, it’s not always quiet. It’s so spacious and calm otherwise. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our second almost-month long stay and we want to return again and again. The four bedroom, two bath house is great for our extended family and we all love being able to walk to the beach. The house is also close to town, making shopping easy. We lived in HI for 7 years and staying here feels like coming home. This year we were joined by other family members who rented the cottage and studio on the same property and two one-bedroom units across the street. It was the perfect place for the 15 of us. People gathered at the house or in the courtyard. It was magical. If you want to understand what it is like to live in Hawaii, rent this place.

This is a lovely place in a wonderful location! A quick, easy walk to Kailua Beach and very close to Kailua Town with restaurants, grocery stores, and shops. We were very comfortable in the Garden Suite, it was clean and welcoming. Very quiet neighborhood, especially at night. It has a comfortable bed and sitting areas, nice kitchenette with microwave, small fridge, pans, hot plate, and more if needed, and a beautiful outdoor sitting area. Also, the bathroom shower is huge and there's an outdoor shower as well. The hosts were friendly and had a great list of recommendations too. Highly recommend!

Timmy’s listing was very accurate and he was very responsive! - Awesome location and apartment was well thought out (efficient use of space, lots of storage for clothes, toiletries, other belongings, etc). - Really appreciated the beach accessories provided (sand toys, boogie boards, small cooler, 1 beach chair) There were even 2 umbrella strollers. - Beautiful views when waking up in the morning. Kitchen was good for simple meals (hot plate available) Stayed with 2 young kids and would stay there again for the value.

Our family of 5 with 2 little kids and an infant had a great stay here! The place was clean. The host was responsive. There’s lots of restaurants close by.

Overall, the stay was great. The owner has great communication, the apartment is walking distance from the beach and all of Waikiki shops, and the view from the balcony was pretty stellar! Also, it has AC! This may seem like a given, but stays in Hawaii do not always have the greatest AC, extra points for this. The only downsides were the elevators and parking doors, which is not really on the owner of the Airbnb. Just keep in mind that elevators will take a while so if you have scheduled activities account for elevators lines. Also, random but useful. The parking lot doors close after a certain hour (it was different everyday), the owner does provide you with a key however said key got jammed in the keyhole on two separate occasions coming in from the parking garage. On both occasions, it was near breaking point and had to ask for help to avoid having to pay a replacement fee. Again, we in no way blame the owner simply leaving the comment just in case it happens to someone else.

Great place to stay with groups or families. Walkable to the shops, beach and eateries downstairs. Very clean and comfortable 2 bedroom location. The responsiveness of Vince was excellent to any questions and help we needed. I would definitely recommend this to anyone coming to Waikiki for a vacation.

We loved the condo. Very clean , spacious and well equipped. The kids were excited to have the lagoon so close. The ocean view from the lanai was beautiful. We would highly recommend Anna’s condo and would love to return in the future. Thanks to Anna for the great communication both prior to and during our stay.

This stay exceeded all expectations! The property offers stunning views of the river and mountains, providing a peaceful and relaxing environment. There’s a parking lot available, which is perfect for travelers renting a car. The room is well-equipped, and there’s even a bodyboard provided for surfing at the beach. The host was very responsive and patient, and the check-in process was simple and efficient. The location is convenient, with a bus stop nearby for easy transportation. The only minor issue is that the windows aren’t very soundproof, but this is understandable given the great location. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I highly recommend it!

Great stay, had one minor issue more to do with the building but host was very responsive. Room was just like advertised and Lanai has a beautiful view. Would recommend and would stay again.

This is a great, clean 2BR condo, conveniently located in Honolulu with lots of great food and entertainment within walking distance! It is close to the airport and there is easy and flexible check in and check out! The only downside is that since it is in a busy part of Honolulu, there is a lot of noise from the streets below. I would love to stay here again!

Niki and Minesh's place was beautiful and close to downtown. They had beach supplies such as a beach umbrellas, chairs, towels, and ice chest, and finally a cart to carry it all. The amenities were great. There was plenty of room for 4 people. Free parking is a luxury in the Waikiki area. They were also very responsive to questions we had. I would 100% stay here again.

This place was perfect! Clean and nice smelling room. Beautiful view from the balcony. An easy walk to Waikiki Beach. And at the cafe downstairs I had an acai bowl every morning. This place was perfect for me and my first time in Hawaii! Lulei was quick to reply and let me check in early because available the day before, which was really helpful. I will be back to Hawaii and will definitely come back here again!

This place was amazing! Tracy had everything we needed for beach days and the location has some great restaurants, coffee shop, ice cream shop, and convenience store right inside the building. The building was also super walkable and all the the tours have pick up locations steps away from the front entrance. The place was also super clean and Tracy was very accommodating and helpful. Really felt at home here and will be visiting again!

Ryan’s place was perfect for everything we needed. We were next to the zoo so quieter which is what we prefer. We were close to a pick up for Pearl Harbor and close to the freeway for our trips hiking. The 10th floor was amazing for sunsets.

I’ve been coming to Hawaii for a couple decades, and I have to say this is one of my favorite rental experiences. It’s a great place to set up a camp and have a good kitchen. It was so easy to get to all the sites and we did so much healthy, walking and biking. The hosts were very responsive and solved all issues quickly. It’s a great place to stay and I highly recommend it.

Good location, clean condo, plenty of towels, and comfortable bed. Only 15 min walk to Kalakaua Ave. Parking was $33 a day across the street from the Ilikai building. You can pay up to five days in advance, which I highly recommend if you’re getting a rental. We had a small inconvenience when trying to iron our clothes for a wedding, but Jaqueline provided a contact number for us. Someone quickly stopped by to drop off another functioning iron which was nice. Overall great condo. We enjoyed it!

Super cute spot, i tried extending and it was booked which i wasn’t surprised. I rented another room in the building and it wasn’t anywhere near as nice as Melanie’s! She really had everything anyone could need. Overall a super relaxing experience felt right at home.
