Quinta Mãe dos Homens Garden Village is a very charming small self catering resort within the grounds of a Private Estate, beautifully situated on the hillside overlooking the centre of Funchal with superb views across the town to the harbour and the sea.
We welcome you to stay in our "Apartments" or our "Family Villa", surrounded by splendid gardens, with beautiful flowers, fruit trees and cultivated lands with its own flora of Madeira, plus the use of an harmoniously integrated swimming pool.

Free wifi available in all rooms and some communal areas. We include cleaning each day, except Sunday, a change of linen once a week and towel changes twice a week. Pool towels are supplied.

Quinta Mãe dos Homens Garden Village, situated in a residential area, is a collection of self catering apartments and villas, situated in an exclusive private estate perched above the city centre of Funchal. In the neighborhood you will find a local mini-market and café, 3-5min walk below us. Also above us on a main road 4-6mins walk, you will find a row of shops, which include a very good bakery, fresh fruit shop, supermarket, chemist, flower shop and others. We are situated directly above the old town of Funchal, 10-15 minute walk down hill, where you will find many restaurants and bars, as well as the local Farmer's Market with beautiful cut flowers, local fruit and vegetables and freshly caught fish.
