Jean and Monique were wonderful hosts. Helpful without being officious. Pleasant and engaging, but respectful of our privacy. Very personable and pleasant to deal with all around. The house is small, as the listing clearly states, but it is well equipped and comfortable. The location is ideal for anyone who wants a quiet, safe neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan, but with easy access to public transportation to the city. We had a bit of snow and ice during our stay and both Jean and Monique were very conscientious about cleaning the steps and walkways. All in all a perfect stay and would definitely come again.

Me and the Mrs had a wonderful time here. The room is nice and cozy and the hosts are so friendly and accommodating. The stay is well worth your time, especially with such patient and understanding hosts. Would absolutely love to come again some time.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Jose’s place. He goes above and beyond for his guests. Me and my husband stayed for a month, we felt like home, the area is safe and easy to get to Manhattan. Jose helped us with restaurant recommendations, helped us figure out the subway by recommending an app, and was responsive to our needs. Overall, this host is an incredible man and we will stay again when visiting NYC. Prior to staying at Jose’s place, we got scammed by a host from a different website; Jose welcomed us like he was expecting his family, we found our name on mini boards on a wall, a ton of snacks and drinks. This definitely helped us feel better and more at home after our disastrous experience with a previous booking. Thank you for amazing stay 🙏

Ercilia’s attention to detail is outstanding! She has truly thought of everything a guest might need, from extra toiletries to a generous selection of snacks, including health-conscious options. The studio felt just like home, making our stay incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. We look forward to returning if the studio is available for our future visits!
