Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Hyde County

Lori and Jeff were a pleasure to have as hosts. They communicated very well and provided extra directions to arrive and use of the grounds. Their place is amazing, and their openness to us using the pier, gazebo, kayaks, and off leash strolls with our dogs made it feel like home and very comfortable. They are easy to talk to and friendly, but provide the privacy and space for us to enjoy our relaxation. Jeff provided interesting and knowledgeable info of the area and waters that surrounded the property. And just as he predicted, we spotted the pod of dolphins that roam the area frequently. The stingrays below the pier were fun to watch, and more wildlife popped out as we sat silent and enjoyed. We stayed thru Easter Sunday and, although it wasn't planned, Lori made extra ham and potatoes that she shared with us. Excellent dish! We appreciate Lori and Jeff and it was a comfy stay. Highly recommend!

This place is really fit for purpose. I take a group of guys there every year. We eat we sleep we fish we repeat.

Caroline was an absolute wonderful host. She was responsive when we booked and checked on everyone once they checked it, the home was just like the pics, lots of room, close to the peaceful sound -- walking distance etc. Wonderful host and we are definitely coming back next year!

I'm a frequent guest at Billy's place and it always offers a restful stay in between nature photography outings. Steep stairs to climb inside, but apt is comfortable and quiet. Love having the garage for loading and unloading if weather is bad.

Appreciated how clean the house was. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay even though we were there on business. Enjoyed watching the swallow swoop around the yard. And we were able to use the grill several times. When we had trouble with the DVD player, help came almost immediately to fix the issue.

We had a much needed, peaceful, regenerative stay! Celia and her husband were gracious hosts and were always quick to answer any questions we had. The area was easy to walk/bike around and the kayaks and paddle boards were a nice touch! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway!

What an incredible time we had at Rizwans place. We loved the surroundings. My grandson fished almost the entire time. We also used the Kayaks and my husband and grandson took the little boat out. If you’re looking for a clean, quiet and peaceful place with a wonderful host this is your place!!! I would give it a 10.0 if I could.

My family and I had to travel to Belhaven to attend my aunt’s funeral service. I can honestly say this house was the best property I’ve ever stayed it. Immaculately clean, beautiful setting on the marina, and Donna (the host) was so accommodating! She made everything so much easier for my family and were so thankful. You will not be disappointed. Also, make sure you are able to catch the sunrise and sunset over the river in front of the house. The view and sounds of the waves will make you love the house even more!
