We stayed one night in Tinghir and the welcome was very warm and caring. Authentic house in a village very well located to go to the Gorges de Dades, and close to the palm grove. Hearty and delicious meal. Very quiet place. We would recommend it without a problem.

The last southern Moroccan valley spared from tourism. An essential stop away from the hustle and bustle of Dades, Marrakech and Merzouga. Between the Dades Valley and Todgha Farid built a beautiful mud house entirely from Tadelakt and yet equipped with all modern comforts. The inhabitants of the nearby village do not see tourists so they are authentic and have kept the legendary hospitality of the nomadic Berbers. If you have the pleasure of staying several nights you can hike to the springs of Agolzi that brought life to this forgotten Atlas Valley. I've been traveling to Morocco since 1984 every year. I have to admit this is my best value for money.
