We greatly enjoyed our stay at Melanie and Francois' home! They were totally responsive and it was a great jumping off point for Quebec, and coming home to a relaxing evening.

We had a great time at the trapper's cottage. Although we were afraid of being cold when we arrived at the accommodation, we contacted Genessee upon arrival who was very responsive and came to help us turn on the wood burning stove. The space heated very quickly and throughout the stay the indoor temperature was warm even without the wood burner being turned on. Great environment with walks in the estate and up to the reserve where you can see deer. The cottage may seem small from the outside when you arrive, but in reality it is very spacious and large in depth. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of space. Change of scenery and tranquility assured. We would definitely recommend Genessee's homes, which is very friendly, warm and caring.

We will be back again next year, hopefully able to get the whole week! It was fantastic!

A small, spotless dome perfect for two, offering a cozy queen bed and a compact kitchenette. The dome features a skylight for stargazing and a private outdoor deck for relaxation. Guests love its simplicity, cleanliness.

This is a very nice brand new and super clean apartment. The car charger is an extra much appreciated!

We had wonderful 4 days at Yves place. Layout is very smart. Wonderful windows and light. Bed very comfortable. Happily cooked in the kitchen. It is well positioned to walk to the old city and along the St. Lawrence River. On the other side of the Marina is an urban garden with the most amazing veggies. We had wonderful neighbors during out stay in the sister house boat next to us. Looking forward to coming back.

We loved this location! It was an easy walk to restaurants and shops. The boat was clean and had a great view of the city. Yves was an excellent host…very attentive to questions. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again!

A great family weekend (4 generations). Even in the winter, the landscape (the river) and the village are beautiful. The house is warm and spacious. We enjoyed gathering around the outdoor fire and spa. Thank you so much to our hosts:-)

Very nice cottage, comfortable, well-equipped, superb view of the river. Communication with the host is quick and easy.

I enjoyed my stay of 3 nights, the village is a few minutes away with grocery stores, etc., in the chalet all the amenities are there, the beds very comfortable, the wood stove is a big plus, it heats the entire cottage, and the view, superb!! a big thank you!

Can't say enough great things about Le 98! Beautifully appointed, with everything you could possibly need or want - and more! The view? Wow! The area is quiet and peaceful in winter, perfect for a cozy getaway. You'll need a car, but Quebec City and Sainte Anne du Beaupre are within easy distance, and Montmorency Falls is just over the bridge. Mario was kind, communicative and took great care to see that all was well - even while abroad! Sensational all around. Highly recommend!

We were looking for a refuge by the river to get away from our daily lives and that's exactly what The Captaincy gave us: a house of yesteryear in all its splendor and charm with everything you might need during your stay!

Amazing place! Could have stayed another week and would go back again. It had everything - no need to go anywhere else!
