We loved our stay at Maison Bélanger-Giroux! The house was exactly as the photos show, stunning views with cozy and spacious rooms. We had plenty of room for two families, with a total of four adults and four children to eat, sleep, and play. The house was a short 15 minute drive or uber to all of Quebec’s greatest attractions, and located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The hosts had someone remove snow after a storm so we could access the hot tub and deck. The house has one tight parking space in front during winter months, with additional parking across the street, still in view from the house. The hosts were very responsive to my questions about parking bans, and helpful with recommendations and information as needed.

A great family weekend (4 generations). Even in the winter, the landscape (the river) and the village are beautiful. The house is warm and spacious. We enjoyed gathering around the outdoor fire and spa. Thank you so much to our hosts:-)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Paradis! We felt at home here in this welcoming cottage with the wonderful view. Minette is a sweet loving little girl- she stole our hearts from the get-go. We hiked many trails in Jacques Cartiers National Park, we walked the ancient forest trail at Mont Wright Park, kayaked in Marais de Nord, and spent 2 days at home puttering, cooking, and admiring the view of the river. Very nice cottage. Very nice stay. Well located.

Spacious, comfortable, bright house. It feels like a home away from home and it's perfect for groups. Several touches were appreciated: even toothbrushes! Beautiful board game wardrobe on site. Since it's a house with pets, you should expect a few hairs present and be careful if there are any allergies in your group.

Great place for an overnight stop on our road trip. A short distance from the highway. Downstairs beautifully renovated. Upstairs less updated, but clean and comfortable. Note - the one bathroom is on the main floor, apart from the bedrooms. Consider yourself warned if you make frequent nighttime bathroom trips.

We had a pleasant stay with the family! Everyone found their account there! The immediate environment is quiet and rural. Genevieve was a great help when we needed her, even on a December 31st at night!

Dave was a great host. Super responsive and proactive. The house was spacious, clean and located in a beautiful neighborhood. We called him to check the hot tub and he even brought us donuts! Great experience overall! Merci Dave!

Overall set was perfect a few small details such as no garbage bags in the trash but it was at our disposal, missing a bit of dishes but for 2 perfect sets, the spa lacked water but was nice to enjoy it!

If you book it you won’t regret it!

This is a stunning house and we had a beautiful experience here! Everything is exactly as the pictures look, even better in person. If you prefer original architecture and buildings with old charm, this is the place! But with updated furniture and amenities. Lots of room to explore and space for our bachelorette group. We did run into an issue with the heat (it's an old house) but the host was so responsive and quick to respond to our request, we couldn't have asked for more. They also allowed our group to check in early which was a huge plus for us as we came from out of town. If you are looking for a quiet weekend close to charms of Quebec City but away from the tourism, I cannot recommend this place more.

Our tour was great! We had only stayed to rest and due to the weather conditions, we stayed inside. For New Year's Day, there were fireworks behind the cottage which was great, we loved it. The kitchen is very well equipped. It was easy to communicate with the host. We highly recommend.

This Airbnb was a perfect blend of charm and comfort! Clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, it felt like a home away from home. The location was unbeatable—close to great restaurants, shops, and attractions, yet peaceful for a good night’s rest. The host was friendly and responsive, making the stay even better. Highly recommend for a relaxing and convenient getaway!

We had a great girls weekend here! Would definitely stay here again for future trips.

Great accommodation and hosting!

Everything was perfect at Chalet le Shack! The space was exactly what we needed, the kitchen is well equipped, and very nice bathrooms with lots of towels! The location cannot be beat if you’re coming to cross country ski. Quick access to groceries and restaurants. We hope to come back again next winter!

As mentioned earlier, the place was beautiful. The view of the river was breathtaking. The house was also beautiful...warm and intimate. I have never rented an Airbnb with so many services offered...cafes, accessories... entertainment options. Jean-Luc was proactive and sensitive to our questions. Plus, we were even given a welcome gift. I would definitely recommend this place for people who want to escape from the city and enjoy a magical and welcoming place.
