It can be used as a base for sightseeing in Takaoka, not only in Yamamachisuji, but also in the foundry town of Kanayamachi (10 minutes on foot), Takaoka Daibutsu (10 minutes on foot), Takaoka Castle Ruins (15 minutes on foot), and the national treasure Zuiyuji Temple (25 minutes on foot).
