Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Imperial Beach

Comfy beds, washer and dryer... everything we needed. Complimentary snacks left out and cold drinks in the fridge (not all provide this anymore, thank you!) Great place, great location, will definitely stay again!!!

I stayed at this Airbnb with my mom and our 3 dogs. It was very cozy and at such a great location. The front porch/grassy area was our (and the dogs) favorite spot to relax. A very quick walk to dog beach and some yummy breakfast spots (highly recommend Benedict’s). Overall very relaxing stay and we would return. Only downside was the neighbors fire alarm kept going off early in the morning but that’s out of everyone’s control; the bed is also very tall, may need a step stool if you’re short lol.

We were on a long road trip from Colorado and spent a few days here - it was exactly what we needed. Clean, confortable and well appointed with whatever you might need from the bathroom to the kitchen. There's even a hose by the backdoor to rinse things off. The star of this place is the outdoor area, with each Casita having its own outdoor space and the lush landscaping creates privacy between each. We had a rainy day and loved having the hot tub to relax in. It's all fenced in, which made it great for the dog. Quiet, safe neighborhood walking distance to downtown OB and the beach. We ran into the owners wife one morning and she was lovely - they were also very responsive, though we didn't need much once we got there!

Everything is absolutely wonderful about this place. It's one of our favorite airbnbs of all time (and we've stayed in many). The living space is very comfortable, both indoors and out. The location is excellent, walking distance to great food. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. There are so many thoughtful touches, too, like quality cookware, necessities like olive oil and vinegar, canvas bags for the grocery store, and the list goes on. It's clear that the hosts have put a lot of thought and care into making it a great experience for guests. We were in town because of a family member being at Scripps Hospital. The location was great for that, too, just a mile or so away, plus we really appreciated the pet-friendly nature of the home since we had my father's little dog with us. Chris was also amazing to deal with, too, especially when I accidentally booked the wrong check-in date. Thanks for a wonderful stay. You helped ease our stress, and BTW, my dad is now on the mend!

We had a fantastic stay here. The location was excellent—so close to the beach, coffee shops, and restaurants in both mission beach and pacific beach. We had 6 adults staying and didn’t feel cramped. We especially enjoyed sitting on the patio. We had no problem parking a Honda civic and Kia sportage side by side. The host was very responsive. Would definitely recommend!

This was our second time staying at this home in San Antonio Del Mar w/our pup. Private safe gated community w/beach access. Only 10min drive to downtown Rosarito. Very spacious with an ocean view & jacuzzi. Joel is an excellent host! Definitely recommend & look forward to staying again!

Excellent option, and location can't be beat especially if traveling with a dog that loves Dog Beaches. For being close to DT San Diego and the neighborhood being under a flight pattern it's surprisingly peaceful. Overall, great choice for a couple w/ dog.

Koko's home was a magical Christmas experience for our family of 4 adults and 2 dogs. We arrived after dark, but the house was beautifully lit and welcoming. We had an access code, so it was easy to enter. Once opening the door, we were greeted by an abundance of Christmas cheer, including a fully decorated and lit Christmas tree. It even smelled like Christmas! The Kitchen was fully stocked with new appliances, tools, dishes, cleaning products and even spices. The bedrooms had comfy beds and bedding, with extra pillows and blankets. Both bathrooms had lots of towels, soaps and shampoo. Koko's New Country Home is truly a home away from home; it was more than we could have expected. We will definitely plan to stay here again.

My family and I had a delightful time at Brian and Carla’s home. All amenities available with a spectacular pool and hot tub in the back combined with beautiful palm trees and birds of paradise which gives the feel of being in your own private oasis. Centrally located and in a nice neighborhood. Good communication at all times. Highly recommended. Brian and Carla, thank you for a memorable time.

We stayed at Pete's place because it has a gorgeous pool (the pool slide was a huge hit), is close to Del Mar racetrack, and is close to the beach/ocean (you can see the ocean from the front yard). We took our two Bichons and felt safe and secure letting them out. We have family in San Diego and had a small family cook out on Sunday. The grill was awesome, and there are lots of fun things to do on the property, front and back yards. We didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi, but it was already heated up. Since the house doesn't have air conditioning, there were fans in the family room and bedroom. Large kitchen, so you can cook and bake if you don't want to eat out all the time. The house is single story, but outside there are lots of levels where you have to go up and down some single steps,so small children would need help and elderly or disabled folks may need help, too. Pete gave great directions about how to access the main entrance, and the self check-in security code.

House was clean and comfortable. Check in and check out went smoothly. Communication was great with the owner. Perfectly accommodated our family and location was great. We loved that Better Buzz was within walking distance for a coffee! Grocery store and restaurants also close by. Would highly recommend this rental!

What a lovely home! We spent 5 days here with our family of 5 and it was absolutely wonderful. The home is spacious and open, very clean, and beautifully decorated. We loved the pool and watching airplanes take off and land in the distance. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Would stay here again!

Our family had the best stay at Bruce’s place. It’s a beautifully maintained property and so relaxing yet many activities to do! The kids loved the pool and ping pong tables, the fire pit for s’mores, pool, but especially the “outdoor living room” with a tv to watch movies or listen to music. We can’t wait to return! It’s a great property that is perfect for large groups- from families, bachelors or bachelorette parties, girls get away, etc.

Exactly as advertised and in a great location not far from the beach and boardwalk. The bikes were great for getting around as well. The bed was also very comfortable. Easily accessed and had no issues at all!

We really enjoyed our stay!! The place is super walkable to great restaurants and shops in Ocean Beach as well as to the beach itself! We had our dog with us and loved how dog friendly and clean everything was! You can tell a lot of care goes into the place, including the matching full sets kitchenware, condiments/seasonings, full bag of coffee, clean dog couch covers, etc. It makes you feel appreciated and cared for as a guest.

I stayed in Gabe's Airbnb with 5 of my cousins for a week! The location was great - Trader Joe's and a cute bagel/coffee shop was literally a 5 minute walk from the house. We made multiple trips throughout the week. Gabe was super helpful and responsive when anything happened. We did get locked out somehow one time, and he was able to get us in and resolve the issue within 10 minutes through his Ring camera. The fridge and kitchen were stocked well and we were able to use the stove without problems. The one thing I will mention is the living room area is a bit smaller than I expected. It was difficult for all 6 of us to sit at the same time to watch a movie or play games, but we all had more than enough space for sleeping, and to store our belongings. The hot tub was definitely a huge highlight of the place! It is shared with the neighbors but they were never using it while we were there!

We were able to easily explore the city's attractions and restaurants. The enclosed yard was private and relaxing. And the swing? It was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of adventures. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in SD!"

My family had a lovely stay at Zina and Craig’s place for a long weekend. They made them feel right at home with great communication as well!

Location was very central to getting everywhere in San Diego. The home was just like the photos and Gloria was very good at communicating. Would definitely stay again. The bedrooms were comfy and quiet. In the living room and kitchen you can definitely hear the other tenants that occupy the side and back of the house, but it wasn’t a big deal.

We have stayed with Lisa multiple times in the past year. It’s like a home away from home. Very easy to get to and convenient to visiting friends and family. Very quiet neighborhood and cozy place inside.

This was a great place to stay. The backyard was a great hang out spot and the location is prime. Also the bedding and pillows felt really nice and expensive!
