Idyllic forest cabin

Steinsborg is a small forest gem for those especially interested. Drive a few miles into the woods on a dirt road and you'll be there. The cabin is an old woodland hut with simple standard, and outdoor toilet. The food is cooked over a gas stove, and a gas refrigerator keeps the food cool. Water is collected in the Stone Water directly below. There is also a rowboat and a canoe at your disposal. In here, you can lower your shoulders and enjoy silence and birdsticks. Afterwards we take cleaning. Welcome!

Simple and peaceful accommodation, which is centrally located. The apartment is older but partly renovated. Warm and cozy. It is located inside a farmyard. It is possible to greet our great bulls, (Scottish Highland Fair) by appointment. The apartment is 6.3 km from Ski Center and 4.1 km to Tusenfryd. Train from Ski to Oslo takes about 15 minutes. Car approx. 20 min. Drøbak center about 13 km away. Breivoll beach is about 7 minutes by car, lovely beaches or stroll along the coastal path.

The cabin is conveniently located just a one-hour drive from both Oslo and Gardermoen. Its elevated position allows you to enjoy the magnificent view of Hemnessjøen, a popular lake for fishing all year round. During the summer, you can even borrow a boat to explore the lake. Additionally, there are some wonderful hiking areas in close proximity to the cabin, offering opportunities for outdoor adventures and connecting with nature.

No running water,outdoor toilet on site. Guests must bring a sleeping bag or other equipment for accommodation. Only what is in the photos is on site. Guests have to clean themselves before leaving the place. There is water in jugs on site.
