Everything were great! We had a very good 4 nights stay! The kitchen was a wonderful place for me to cook some home meals! She has a lot of kitchen tools/pots/pans/baking stuffs for you to use. The only thing I can say is she could use a new set of pans. The weather was not cooperating so we only used the kayaks/paddleboard for a day. The kids and my husband had so much fun! Roads are pretty windy, suggest to take those Dramamine if you have a weak stomach to tolerate the windy road. Grocery stores are pretty far 30-45 mins so stock up before heading there. The Family Dollar have pretty much everything except fruits/veggies/meats. Highly recommended to visit the New River Gorge National Park!!! I wish I have more times to do a bit more hiking trails. I will definitely come back again!

This was a beautiful and peaceful getaway in the mountains! I was able to relax and unwind after a hectic start to the year. Bedding was the most comfortable and I actually forgot to look at the mattress name before I left because I wanted to buy one for myself! The bathroom was really pretty and the soaking tub was great! The kitchen was very accommodating and had everything I needed! My favorite part was curling up with a good book in front of the gas fire place and watch the snow fall outside. There is a keypad to enter the home, which died in the middle of my stay. I called Nancy and they came down right away to let me in and change the batteries. I highly recommend having a 4x4 vehicle to get up and back down but still possible in a front/rear wheel drive. I will definitely be back!

First time using Airbnb, and it was great! The slight swaying of the place was a little anxiety inducing but I knew it was gonna because the pictures showed how it was raised and I saw it in another review so we got used to it. The best parts are how clean and cozy it was, and how nice and helpful the hosts were. They gave a lot of directions, and info, plus the guide was helpful for local recommendations and what to see and what to avoid. Everything was clean and in order, everything we expected to see provided. We would definitely stay again.

Our stay was great. Chelsea was super helpful as a host and they made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay as best as possible would highly recommend staying at their place super peaceful and relaxing.

From booking to check out Sharon was quick to respond and very helpful. We felt right at home from the moment we walked into her house. Beautifully decorated, spacious and has every amenity one would need. No detail was missed for their guests. Everything in the house is labeled and easy to find. The home brings a calm for relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. We loved our weekend stay and will surely be back.

Many accurate reviews. A great place conveniently located to NRGNP and nearby state parks. Near a busy road, but we knew that when booking. Ideal for us traveling with our dog and infant. Kitchen was stocked with basics, but if you need anything special would be sure to ask if it is there.

Steven & Becky are GREAT hosts! Super friendly, quick communication and clear instructions on the place. They even left us snacks! (Kid approved snacks too!) The house was squeaky clean and cool when we arrived. The Boomer Bungalow is a cute house and feels just like home. I definitely would recommend staying here and I certainly would come back.

Margaret was a fabulous host. Looks like the pictures but also has so many unique curated design. She was extremely accommodating, and friendly. Though we found a pet sitter last minute- Being pet friendly was such a bonus. As we usually bring our small dog for hikes and visiting. You can truly feel the intention and heart that goes into her space. Not only does she have an eye for art. But when inquired, she shared they were a local artist. I love how she clearly supports her local community. And recommended some local cafes, and coffee shop. The overall feel was she is a very thoughtful and intentional host. Highly recommend her space!

The house fit our needs perfectly. Everything you could ever need was provided. We had a question for Holly at 10:45pm and got an immediate answer. I was really drawn to what the rock the house was made of. There was rock inside and out. The upper and lower fireplaces were beautiful. Our friends were also impressed. Lovely time.
