Holiday rentals in Ione

The view is beautiful and we enjoyed cross country skiing in the area. An unexpected power outage meant the hot tub was cold. Hudson called and walked us through getting it back on. He is easy to work with if you have a problem.

Brian and Sarah went up and beyond hosting us. Brian even came and kept the driveway clean from snow the next day, even though we weren't there. Very kind and highly communicative hosts. The cottage is one of the best airbnbs we ever got to stay, and, the surrounding and its surrounding is like fairy wonderland. We will be revisiting again and again when we are near Rossland/Kootney. We highly recommend Brian/ Sarah place.

Alana and her family are amazing. Gnarly Dude is their dog who is a great mascot. This place is a little slice of heaven. perfect for a family with two kids or three individuals looking for a place super close to Red Mountain. Hot tub is so nice in evening. The kids used the sledding hill and the snowshoes to have some fun on the large acreage with the property. Alana provided local chocolate, coffee, and fresh eggs for us. Please remember that this is a lower level unit with beautiful light and windows but people above. Alana's recommendation of four wheel drive proved to be very valuable. I spent a few days in 4 x 4 low in my pickup truck. With over 14 inches (30CM) of snow over the 5 days we were there this is really important that you have a 4 wheel drive. Enjoy and cherish this place. It is truly special.

We had a great stay at the cabin - super clean, had everything we needed and great to be able to walk to beach or a few of the nearby eateries! Erin and Sheldon were super accomodating of us and we really appreciated their hospitality!

Darby was a fantastic host, accommodating, welcoming, and the place is a homey home that is well stocked, comfortable and convenient. Thank you!

Hi there enjoyed our stay again. Love the resort, location amenities, view restaurant We will continue to book the cabin in the future. Would be nice to have a dishwasher but not a hindrance to staying here.

You can’t beat the location and the view! It was very clean and James was very responsive. The kitchen had all the cookware you need and was perfect for preparing dinners every night.

Melissa went out of her with our super late booking by getting the home ready to go within a few hours. Super friendly and accommodating!!! The home is beautiful and spacious with a semi stocked pantry! I would recommend this place and Melissa to anyone thinking of visiting Sand Point and Schweitzer Ski Resort!
