Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Island of Ortigia

We really enjoyed the stay in the apartment. The apartment is very spacious, decorated with style and it is ideally located on an narrow and quiet street on the Ortigia. The hosts were very friedly on arrival, recommended great restaurants and always responded very quickly and kindly during our stay. The flat feels like home and was perfectly clean. The sunlight shines beautifully through the flat all day long and in the evening you can watch the beautiful sunset from one of the bedrooms. We hope, we will be able to come back one day.

Vincenzo’s place was a perfect relaxing spot in Siracusa. It is 15 mins drive from Ortigia and close to beautiful beaches. Vincenzo was a perfect host, super communicative and helpful when we had to cut our stay short due to a family emergency. we would definitely come and stay again.

Wonderful house a stone's throw from a beautiful sea. Large indoor and outdoor spaces also suitable for large families. The house is equipped with everything beyond all expectations. Impeccable house cleanliness and order. Lucia and Biagio are always courteous and available in everything. Highly recommended!!!!!

The stay in Sarah’s house was great! Everything was as described with a great barbecue spot, clean rooms and a well equipped kitchen. The beach is just a short walk away and it’s one of the nicest spots on the islands if you want to go for swim. Sarah was always easy to reach, super friendly and proactive. We can highly recommend her as a host!

Sicily has 2 of it's finest ambassadors in Elena and Angelo! Generous, warm, but most of all, amazing people that could not do enough for you to ensure a wonderful stay. Where else can you get amazing wine tasting, pricky pears and dolce that is world class. Without doubt a memorable stay, with memories that will last a life time with my father. Great stay in the house and on this beautiful coast near Syracuse. The house is refurbished, very functional and beautifully decorated. It is very well equipped. Very nice bedding. Bikes are a plus to visit the surroundings! The neighborhood was very quiet because out of season. The garden is beautiful with a lemon tree that gives delicious fruit. A small grocery store next door where there are delicious homemade Sicilian specialties! Everything was perfect as well as Desirèe's welcome! Can't wait to come back!

This place is a dream. A great kitchen with everything you need, pans, utensils, spices, etc. A super comfy bed. The best shower I’ve had in Italy, a rain shower head. I will be back! Enza was so kind and helpful.

it's nice villa divided into 4 independent flats , located in the center of the village and surrounded local citizens and houses within specific Italian atmosphere 😀. Flat is modern and very nice with the huge terasse, but pure internet. There is absolutely nothing to do around except beautiful sand beach in 10 min by car. We always used car to reach Syracuse, Ragusa or any restaurant or supermarkets in Avolla. As a summary we would highly recommend for a couple of days if you have a car.

Francesco's apartment is very cozy and the location is great! We were in the apartment as a family of 5 and had plenty of room. The kitchen has all the necessary things to cook for yourself. And food on the loggia is fantastic. There is always something going on in the parking lot in front of the apartment, but it was not disturbing. Francesco always writes back immediately if you have any questions. All in all a great stay.

The house was perfect for a weekend away with friends. Well equipped house and close to the beach.

We recommend Catherine's place, it is welcoming, nicely decorated, with an amazing shower... the environment is quiet. There's an overhead projector with netflix, it was great. Catherine is a very nice, commucative and intentional host. Thank you for everything

Villa was one of our best AirBNB experiences ever! Elisa is so hospitable and kind, was always ready to advise! Elisa assisted with transfer, ordered us pizza when we arrived (flight was delayed and it was already too late to go for dinner). Villa is a large and beautiful place for stay, so clean, with everything could be needed during vacation! Location is perfect especially if you have a car- 2 minute drive or 19 minute walk from beautiful sand beach (perfect for children!), product shops also close. For fish and seafood -10 minute drive. Amazing Siracuse for evening walks -20 minute drive. If you are searching for great sea experience at Sicily - no doubts that Villa will be the right choice! Elisa, thank you ♥️

Apartment extremely well located and comfortable. The terrace at the top is exceptional, in the Pointe d 'Ortigia with a breathtaking 360-degree sea view. It will be necessary to climb the 3 floors without an elevator (not recommended for people with difficulties to climb so many steps) to enter a place with a very pleasant atmosphere, you quickly feel at home. The layout is quite special, sometimes you have to bend down to enter the bedroom or on the terrace, but you get used to it. Very friendly host who gave good advice and let us enjoy a few extra hours on the last day as there was no one right after. The only small negative point is the lack of shutters and darkness in the downstairs bedroom, provide a night mask if you need to sleep in the dark.

It truly was a home away from home. Beautiful furnishings. Comfortable bed. The host was very responsive, when we discovered we needed additional kitchen items. It was private and conveniently located.

Great villa with large garden where kids can just have fun. We even used the pool twice, in April. Loredana is very professional, nice and helpful.

The location is fantastic. The cleanliness of the place is spotless. All kitchen utensils and appliances are in perfect condition. There were very nice crockery and wine glasses, no mixed machine. Although the hosts live in the same house on the upper floor, we had full privacy and direct sea access on the terrace. I enjoyed the beautiful pots with well-kept plants, as it is often not the case even in good hotels. For sports enthusiasts: There is a several kilometer long bike/hiking trail along the coast about 500m from the accommodation, with spectacular views from the rocks. It starts at Monumento ai caduti d'Africa. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the restaurant Meditè suggested by the property, the food was the worst of our Sicily trip. I would highly recommend "a Levante" where we ate twice on the terrace for lunch.

All very good. The house is awesome to have a nice time. A lot of turnaround. Very good for children. I liked the large outdoor kitchen the most. The proximity to Fonte Biance beach is also brilliant. All in all, you can spend perfect holidays in this house.

Pictures cannot really reflect how beautiful this place is! The amazing view from the large terrace shows all the beauty of the rich Sicilian landscape: the sunrise from the sea, Etna with its clouds and always present smoke trace, the cow bells as the only sound you hear …. The house and the garden are made with love and are a perfect place to stay! Many places to visit are within a short drive - great location that allows you full privacy as well as many sight-seeing possibilities. What makes you feel at home from the first moment - are the very welcoming and kind hosts, Grazia and Antonio. They thought of everything when preparing the house for us. They are always available for answering questions and help. Great suggestions for places to see and to eat. Thank you for everything Grazia and Antonio!

Place is a bit difficult to find as the airbnb app sends you to a different location than where it actually is. Double confirm with the host to get the right location. Lots of space. Rooms were kept well. The on site person was fun and helpful. Some of the outside furniture and umbrellas etc need replacing as there are falling apart, This is the only real criticism I have. The kitchen is fantastic for cooking for a large group like us! Plenty of communal places to sit inside and outside to eat and talk. Thanks Martina for the flexible check in and check out times! You made our weekend extra special!
