This place is a hidden gem! It was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway for my boyfriend and I to celebrate our 2-year anniversary. Leslie was super proactive, responsive, and accommodating. We immediately felt comfortable, cozy, and right at home in the cabin. It had everything we could ever need and then some! This trip was exactly what we needed to get away from the craziness of every-day life and really unplug and unwind. Leslie & Matt gave us some great local recommendations, and our day trip to Stowe to visit The Alchemist and Matterhorn was a blast! We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub at the end of each day. Thanks to Leslie & Matt for such a wonderful experience, we hope to be back very soon!

Lisa was a great host! Highly recommend staying! Very responsive and generous. Was very flexible when it came to a last minute reschedule due to sickness which we are very grateful for. Cabin is secluded enough to be very peaceful but close to main attractions. Will definitely be returning for a longer stay next time.

Staying at Adley’s place was a pleasure. Even without the snow-covered landscape we were hoping for this proved as cozy and peaceful as it looks. Very spacious and comfortable, beautiful views from all living areas, well-equipped kitchen, I can only recommend!

We had a lovely and relaxing stay. The cabin and surrounding property are beautiful, and Evangelyn was a wonderful host. If you’re looking for a peaceful, “home away from home” getaway, this is just the place.

My girlfriend and I went to Vermont for a wedding and had a great time, this cabin was great for the two of us to have space away from all the busy events of the wedding and relax. The hot tub was amazing and it was very secluded. Pay close attentions to the drive in instructions, the road referenced in that section of this Airbnb's page is definitely not for a car and is very narrow.

We had the best time here! The view is beautiful and the place is so well appointed. Had everything we needed for a quiet, relaxing weekend (especially the hot tub and wood stove!!). And the place is just a five minute drive to awesome restaurants and cafes. I'd come back here in a heartbeat.

This home had everything we needed & more for an amazing girls trip to Stowe! The kitchen was extremely well stocked with every utensil and spice you could need, all the furnishings were in great condition (including very comfortable beds and luxurious showers), and the nature/waterfall surrounding the home were beautiful. The host was extremely responsive and made sure we had all the information we needed. I can’t recommend this property more!

GPS tried to tell me that we were there when we weren't, worked better with the house number put in. Especially since it was DARK. It was peaceful and enjoyable!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Owl's Head Cabin for a long weekend skiing at Jay. The cabin is small and cozy, very warm, and the right size for two people for a weekend. In addition to the main bed, there's a loft with a sleeping area, but you'd have to be very small to get into it and enjoy it; I'd guess the cabin would be a bit small for a couple with children but maybe if you're out all day it'd be okay. Cooking appliances worked well. The one note of caution is that you have to drive on a somewhat rough, uphill dirt road for at least 3 or 4 miles to reach the cabin. We fortunately did not have to drive during a time when there was actively snow falling on the road, but the 2wd sedan we rented definitely would not have made it in those conditions; it was a little harrowing even with just the slush and ruts left after plowing. So be careful if your trip coincides with nastier weather! Jason was very communicative and left clear instructions. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

loved the place. we were there to snowmobile so it was perfect. we trailer our sleds so I can't comment on trail access from there but I was told there is access. The only thing I have to mention is with the heat set on 65 degrees it still kicked on at night and made both bedrooms warm and woke us up. it was nice and cool in the rest of the house.

This rental was lovely and welcoming. It was well appointed and easy to be at home. I appreciated the art on the walls. It was very cold when we visited and flannel sheets on the bed made it very comfortable. We look forward to staying again during mountain bike season.

Beautiful, cozy, and well stocked cabin with the most amazing lake view. Kim and Rich were super friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again when I'm back in the area.

Without a doubt one of the best cabins that we have stayed in. Well stocked, fully remote feeling and plenty of soothing wild life. The interior is incredibly cosy and there are enough games to pass the time on a rainy day. Bonus: Emily and Patty are wonderful hosts and have a very friendly golden retriever that comes to say hello.

Absolutely loved our stay here!! The home is even more beautiful than in the photos. We found it to be very spacious, clean, cozy and close to everything we needed. Hosts were a pleasure and communicative. Will absolutely be coming back.

Don’t have a lot to say other than that it was a very nice, clean, cute space. Very quiet and peaceful with the little river right next to us. Definitely do recommend staying here but also if you have a small car be careful going up the road to get to the cabin.

Peaceable Nation, is exactly that. Super unique and cozy, perfect for our family and dog. Dave was incredibly accommodating and responsive! This place is truly a dream getaway! Located just a quick five-minute drive from Jay Peak, it offers the perfect blend of convenience and cozy charm. The home has a wonderfully warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at ease. If you're bringing your dog along, you'll love the scenic trails right out back—perfect for a peaceful walk or an adventurous hike. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to whip up meals, which made our stay even more comfortable. And the hot tub? Absolutely amazing—such a relaxing bonus after a day on the slopes or exploring the area. A special shoutout to our host, Haley, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Her hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing, well-equipped stay near Jay Peak!

Beautiful place, older but very well-maintained w period details (exposed beams, etc). More spacious than it looks in photos, great space for 2 people. We were there in winter and had several inches of snow, but house was warm and no difficulty with travel with AWD (road and driveway both plowed).
