Holiday rentals with lake access in Isle of Wight

Very homely and very well stocked caravan. Nice and quiet when we stayed. Parking space at the side big enough for 2 cars. Samantha was very helpful and very responsive to messages. Activity passes included making this a very reasonably priced place to stay.

Princy's property was a perfect place to stay for us. It was spacious, modern and beautifully clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. We particularly liked the lay out of the bedrooms as it suited our family of 2 grandparents, our daughter and son-law and their 3 boys . We loved the openness of the house, the conservatory and being able to walk straight out onto the beach. Absolutely lovely watching the windsurfers and at night to look out and see the night sky full of stars. We were very fortunate to choose a weekend when we had wall to wall sunshine. Be aware that the house is on a private road that is not tarmacked. We would love to go back sometime as we loved every minute of our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the Jungle Crazy Golf at Chichester Golf Club, which also has escape rooms. Thoroughly recommend this lovely place.

Beautiful place - extremely well equipped for a family stay. Grounds are brilliant especially if you have children or dogs! Loved the wood burner ! Would recommend and would love to return.

We had a wonderful family holiday, the hot tub and the fireplace was a huge bonus to a beautiful house within close distance to the seaside as well as the New Forest. The kitchen was fully equipped for us to cook a roast dinner in and the house felt private and was spotless. We felt so relaxed and comfortable. The kitchen was perfect for us all to sit in whilst we cooked and ate too. We had everything we needed and Karen was available for any questions and was very helpful. We would lobe to come and stay again. What a memorable weekend!

David’s place was perfect for a weekend away. It has a big garden which is a sun trap in the late afternoon and the house is close to the bus stop which goes into Sandbanks and Poole really easily!

We had the most fantastic time - the lodge was clean, beautifully furnished and cosy on a cold March evening with the wood burner - loved the record player with the albums - The little touches such as biscuits, coffee and croissants were appreciated as were the refillable bottles of hand wash, shampoo etc. You can immediately tell that the owners have put a lot of hard work and love into their property. My friends and I were together for our 50th birthday celebrations and downtime from our hectic lives and we couldn’t have picked a more idyllic spot. Beautiful walks, fabulous scenery and such a calm quiet place. An ideal location to explore the coast and also the local high street with pubs and restaurants is an easy walk - the hot tub was an absolute added bonus. All communication from the hosts was spot on - Thank you and we will be back again.

A lovely, relaxing couple of nights stay. The Coach House has all you need, is warm and cosy and very comfortable. The beds are super comfy and the duvets really warm and cosy. The garden is very private and a lovely feature, and for anyone staying in warmer weather has everything you need to spend plenty of time outdoors. If you're looking to keep your steps up, try a walk round the lakes, lots of bird life, very interesting. The lighting system took a bit of getting used to but is very ambiant and well thought out. The kitchen has plenty of space so you can cook and chat. It would have been good if the oven had worked but we were told about this beforehand and provided with an airfryer so could work around this quite easily. The host was always quick to respond, kept in touch and made our stay very easy. I would recommend The Coach House for a very relaxing and comfortable stay. All the quirky little touches make The Coach House quite unique and we would definately return.

What an incredible stay for a special occasion. The place is more beautiful than the pictures, especially the views, it is truly a special place. We enjoyed having our coffee and breakfast in the garden and watching the tide go in and out. Erika & John were perfect hosts and made us feel very comfortable, going the extra mile. We can't wait to return!

We booked the place for my family to stay for the night for my graduation so we didn’t really get to do a lot inside the flat. However, the check in is really easy and they were very helpful and responsive. There’s a phone number to call on if you need to reach them and also an office. I honestly thought the place is located in a very nice location (3-5 mins walk to the beach too). The house and rooms are very clean and looks lovely! Would stay again if needed a place to stay on. Lovely host!

Had a really lovely stay, the caravan was well kept and spotless! Very clean bedrooms and bathroom and a lovely balcony area. Warm & cosy and the parking was ideal. Clear instructions on how to check in and find the caravan. I would definitely like to stay again when I'm next in the area!

What an amazing place! Such a peaceful setting for really getting back to nature, surrounded by beautiful countryside yet only minutes from the islands beautiful beaches and attractions (you will need a car if you stay here to make the most of the island). The Little Barn is clean, spacious and flooded with light, and has everything you could possibly need for a family stay - it was ideal for our family of four. We loved exploring the grounds, discovering local wildlife, eating the honey that was left for us (made by Susan and Richard's own bees) and drinking the local Mermaid gin! Susan and Richard could not have been more accommodating and welcoming, checking we had all we needed and giving us tips on the local area whilst giving us the space to enjoy our stay in peace - despite being next door, we barely knew they were there. Some of our local highlights were Compton Bay, Carisbrooke Castle, The Garlic Festival (every August), and the walk to St Catherine's Lighthouse. The perfect wholesome family holiday - we hope to be back one day!

Had an amazing stay at middle barn. Sophie had provided us with breakfast which was ideal for our 2 nights. The barn bedrooms well laid out for 2 couples one bedroom having en-suite the other using the bathroom. Lovely walk around the grounds watching the deer come and go. Felt like you were in the middle of a little oasis with the alpacas looking in the windows, horses/ponies grazing, ducks on the pond and mr swan guarding mrs swan from the geese!! We wish to have been able to stay longer, maybe another time. We visited the Weald and downland museum and Petworth house both places were easy to get to and very enjoyable. Thank you Sophie.

Thanks to Aven, we all felt this fisherman’s cottage was a “home from home”, warm and peaceful during some of the coldest winter nights. Neighbours were friendly, the location is superb, quaint and cosy. Aven is a welcoming host and my family enjoyed a relaxing stay. Great to have off-road parking too.

We have just returned from the Red Cottage, a weekend celebrating a special birthday with family. The cottage was in a great location for the restaurants we had booked. The 3 en suite rooms were beautiful, giving everyone their own space but with a lovely lounge to enjoy together. Thank you for such a lovely stay! We would thoroughly recommend and would love to stay again!

We stayed at Anita's flat for the duration of a weekend chess congress, an ideal situation just 10 minutes from the venue. Clean, comfortable and well-equipped, exactly what we needed.

Lovely little cottage. Well positioned in the centre of town but in a quiet location. Clean and well equipped. Ideal for the coast and for visiting the lovely restaurants in Emsworth.
