Cà del Bif

Cà del Bif overlooks the pier of the village of Nesso; the house dates back to 1600 and has been our holiday home for generations. Here we have all learned to swim, practiced various water sports, took many hikes and then meet, in the evening all together on the dock to fish. In 1925, Hitchcock shot The Pleasure Garden here. The apartment is about 50 square metres with a bedroom, bathroom and living room. Cà del Bif can be reached by following a medieval bowl-shaped road (200 m from the church)

Picturesque, Historic Villa with Island Views

Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

The apartment is located in a dominant position on Lake Maggiore and the ancient village of Belgirate, located within a residence of only eight units, one of the few solutions with a swimming pool in the area (shared with a few and open from mid-June until the end of September). A few minutes' walk away you can reach the lake and the village centre, where you will find all the main services: mini market, bars, restaurants, laundry, pharmacy, tobacconist. In the center of Dagnente, a tiny hamlet of Arona in the hills of Vergante, the lake in front and behind the woods and mountains, is the Asilo Infantile Don Luigi Bellotti. A stone house built at the end of the 18th century, whose restoration was completed in 2017, perfect for those looking for peace and tranquility, but also an ideal base to visit the Maggiore and Orta lakes and the Ossola, Formazza valleys and other places of cultural and naturalistic interest.

We are in Bedisco, a hamlet of Oleggio, 30 minutes' walk and 5 minutes' drive from the city station and its charming center. From the house, places of high tourist interest are easily accessible: Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta, Monte Rosa and its valleys, Ticino Park; while Malpensa airport is only 18 km away (20 minutes by car). We will also be happy to offer the necessary assistance so that our guests can make the most of the interesting surrounding area.

Ideale per chi vuole fuggire dai luoghi affollati, in quanto si trova in una zona isolata e con ampia possibilita di effettuare passeggiati nei boschi circostanti e nello stesso tempo, si trova comunque in posizione strategica per raggiungere i principali punti di interesse del lago.

We are located in a remote and quiet street of the Mombello di Laveno Hamlet, 3 km from the lake, but we overlook it from the hill with a beautiful view. The apartment is small but very cozy. As of April 1, 2023, there is a tourist tax. The cost is €1.50 (per night, per person) for a maximum of 7 days. Children under 14 are excluded.
