Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ithaca

Very nice and bright, well-equipped holiday home with a beautiful view and and a great outdoor area. The beach, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. We really enjoyed our time here and would love to come back.

The place was quite and only 10 minutes from the center of Argostoli. Gerasimos was discreet and helpful if and only you wanted.

We had a fabulous week staying in this wonderful property. It’s located near to some of the most beautiful coves and beaches there are in Kefalonia. The village is friendly and a local shop is a few minutes walk away. The actual property is fantastic. It’s beautiful, spacious, clean and homely. There is lots of sociable space to hang out in. Comfortable bedrooms. Clean everywhere and multiple spaces to eat outside and enjoy the forest and sea views. Maria’s communication was excellent. Very clear and very helpful. She was super responsive to any queries and a fantastic host. We would highly recommend this property.

An incredible villa. As others have said, the pictures do not do it justice. The outdoor areas are particularly ‘wow’. The infinity pool is spotless, and has incredible views out across Sivota bay. The loungers are so comfy, and the vine canopy idyllic. We spent many happy afternoons chilling around the pool, listening to music and reading books. The terrace is equally lovely, with the same fantastic views. And the addition of the BBQ and outdoor kitchen meant we could enjoy authentic home cooked fare as the sunset. A really magical place. Inside there’s everything you need; a well stocked kitchen, a hot shower, plentiful towels and very comfy beds. Plenty big enough for four adults. George was a great host - rapid to respond, very accommodating of requests, and friendly to a tee. Something he shares with his parents, who gave us the most special of welcomes on check in! Anna is clearly an experienced traveller and/or host because the villa is very well equipped in the kitchen and outdoors. Towels are provided and fresh bedding is provided mid week. The pool is a nice size and the property is clean and private. The area is very hilly but easily accessible to the nearest beach, restaurants and bakeries. 15/20 minutes from the airport and a 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket (a large Lidl is 10/15 minutes away). Would recommend.

We had the most wonderful stay with our two children. The house is perfect with so many amenities. All the appliances are high quality and basically brand new! We had everything we needed and more. The pool and bbq area is fantastic. The views beautiful. Location is private but easy to get to other locations. We loved visiting Sami and the Melissani Cave’s not to be missed. The host went above and beyond, always responsive and kind. We highly recommend the house and have already told family and friends about it!

Communication with the host and check in went very fine. The house is big on a beautiful location. It has two terraces, both really nice and inside you got everything you need. There is a bit noise coming from the road, apart from that all was fine.

Villa Madelaine is the perfect place to enjoy the lovely Cephalonian countryside. It is convenient for the airport, Argostoli and a selection of beaches. The villa is well equipped with beautiful views of the sea and Zakinthos in the distance. Anna was super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this villa.

Vielen Dank für den wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Wir wurden beim Betreten der Wohnung sehr freundlich empfangen, da die Vermieterin gerade anwesend war. Sie hat uns alles ausführlich erklärt und gezeigt. Diese Wohnung ist einfach toll und der Ausblick von der Terrasse einfach traumhaft. Für die eine Woche die wir da waren, ist die Terrasse zu dem Ort geworden, wo wir uns am meisten aufgehalten haben. I can’t rave about this place enough. Our stay was absolutely fantastic! What a lovely host and a brilliant location. It felt like a little oasis in paradise. Outside is great - we made use of the BBQ on more than one occasion. Hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle.

We had a really great week at Nektarios’ place! It’s a really peaceful spot with a beautiful view of the bay, and some lovely taverna’s aswell as the beach within 5 minutes walk. It was a convenient base for exploring Lefkada although a car is an essential. Nektarios was a super helpful and friendly host, and would definitely recommend staying here. We’re already thinking about a return trip to Lefkada!

This is the second time we’ve stayed in the Chloe villa and it didn’t disappoint! It’s such a beautiful location with an amazing sea view to watch the sunrise. The pool is directly below and the sea over the road which is perfect for early morning swims. Especially due to the changing temperatures in the water where salt meets fresh and there are warm spots and cold spots. It’s a short pebble beach so water shoes (or flippers in my daughter’s case) make getting in and out of the water much easier. Steve was a brilliant host! Nothing was too much trouble. Really responsive and because we had a late flight extended our checkout time until 6pm which meant we could enjoy a full last day. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, including some starter items for your arrival, such as biscuits, jam, milk, butter… and wine! There is a coffee machine, toasty maker & everything else you may need (incl. washing machine and dishwasher) A 20 min coast walk straight to Sami!

The villa is amazing! Lovely private pool, great garden with sun and shadow spots to sit. The apartment was fully equiped and clean. Angelina was really kind, responded quickly and helped us with tips for the area. Highly recommend this villa!!

Very tranquil

Great communications with clear arrangements for meeting us on arrival, after the journey from the airport. Good local restaurants and a supermarket/ bakery 5 minutes walk. Also 5 minutes walk from the underground lakes. 1.5km from Sami on foot - you can stroll there and back for a huge choice of bars, shops and restaurants. The apartment itself was great. Welcome wine, juice and water in the fridge and 4 coffee pods with UHT creams. Butter and jam portions also in the fridge. Decent parking around the apartment as well. I would highly recommend. Great for two - we had our son on the sofa bed, so can accommodate 4. If you see Piggy the Dog, say hello. He had the uncanny ability to walk us to the nearest restaurant where he then enjoyed the leftovers.

Amazing host with an amazing villa. I have been to a lot of air b n b and this I must say is the best and most hospitable one I’ve been to. Very good communication and amazing amenities. There is a private beach that is beautiful but it’s a hike. We’ll worth it. I suggest you make a day out of the private beach as the hike is a tough one.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this villa! The views were nothing short of breathtaking, providing a perfect backdrop for our getaway. Communication with the host was seamless; they were clear and responsive, making check-in and our entire stay effortless. A highlight for us was when my partner developed a severe headache and, unfortunately, we had forgotten to pack any medicine. To our relief, the villa came equipped with a medical kit that included paracetamol. This thoughtful touch truly saved the day and showcased the host's attention to detail. Overall, our experience was fantastic, and we can’t wait to return again and bring our friends and family to enjoy the breathtaking view

Villa 4 has a stunning location with a superb sea view. The amenities of the 5star hotel are available , inclusive of a free shuttle service into Skala. We have been staying at villas in Europe for nearly 30 years and this one is up there with the best. One small point....since this was our first visit to Kefalonia , it would have beneficial to have a brochure on site outlining places to see , restaurants to visit , local amenities etc. Overall , I would thoroughly recommend this villa.

Wonderful villa in a beautiful peaceful secluded setting..walking distance to the nearby village of Magganis. Good restaurants. Not too expensive. Sheep bells in the valley below. Sunsets over the sea. The pool was chill in April but we all got in, lovely clean and well maintained. Very well looked after grounds with lovely plants and trees (olives, almonds, orange and lemons). Great fake grass lawn for football/games. Supermarket in village (expensive local supermarkets....recommend big shop in Lidl Argostoll for essentials if self catering). Beautiful beaches nearby. Our favourites Emplisi and Atelies in north and Antisamos east. Myrtos and Petani impressive. Bays around the Fiskardo lighthouse lovely for a cheeky dip.

Quite possibly the best villa and location for a quiet and special get away from it all! Sivota is very pretty and has a beautiful marina with many restaurants; lots of villas dotted around the surrounding valley. Most are a bit tricky to get to by car as the lanes and tracks are narrow and stoney, this one is no different as you negotiate the approach. A few trips and you get to used to it though. The villa itself has direct access by foot to the harbour which is a great plus, literally a few minutes and you’re in the owners restaurant which is also fabulous! Elena welcomed us, showed us around, gave us lots of good recommendations for the whole island. We couldn’t have asked for a friendlier host! The villa is perfect! We loved the views, the decor, the pool and especially the private sea access which we used every day for invigorating swims and snorkeling. Comfortable beds, fluffy towels, lots of thoughtful touches and welcome goodies. Great villa, superb location!!

From the moment we walked in, Villa Emiliata wowed all of our party and felt like a true home from home. The outside areas of pool and the surrounding patios and gardens are utterly stunning. The views East and West from the balconies have to be seen to be believed. All items were easy to locate for the kitchen, dining, towels, toiletries and other amenities. The welcome hamper was a very lovely touch. We all had a very enjoyable stay. With regards to privacy, we barely saw Evangelita, who lives on site below, she only made herself known if we needed help with anything, or on the days she came to clean, change the towels and bedding, etc. We used Google Maps to get there and it took us right to the front door, so that was easy, too. Lovely villa, spotlessly clean, has a homely feel to it as well. Well placed to visit sites around and also has restaurants you can walk to. Had a lovely stay would definitely recommend. Hosts were so welcoming.

Un grand merci à Gerasimos pour son accueil chaleureux ! La villa est superbe, encore mieux que ce que nous avions imaginé. Nous étions trois adultes et deux enfants : chambre avec salle de bain et vue merveilleuse. L'emplacement est parfait pour découvrir la région et profiter pleinement du séjour. Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances et repartirions avec plaisir. Je recommande les yeux fermés !
