My family had a fantastic experience staying at The Great Escape. The location was incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the area and get around. Michaela was a fantastic host—very responsive and accommodating, ensuring that everything was set up for a comfortable stay. The home was equipped with several thoughtful amenities that made the trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

Very nice place. Dock is a bit tight for larger boats. Nice concrete path path to the dock but steep and turn around is a bit hard with the provided side by side. Overall good experience.

airbnb's character limit wont let me express everything we lovdd about their place. we were impressed from the moment we entered. it was beautiful, spacious andnhad everything we needed . we loved it so much, we actually picked up an extra day ! if was very close to the strip that had countless places to go and things to do. they were also very helpful and responsive to the things we needed and any questions we had. i was impressed by how smoothly everything went. they have a baby gate installed by the stairs which was a blessing because we did have kids on this trip. everything was really high quality from the kitchen supplies to the spare products they left ( the shampoo/conditioner actually smelled really good!). we had areas we could be together and private areas to retreat to if needed. overall we had a blast and are excited to return! ❤️

I was so glad I got to stay in The Mountain Cottage! So comfortable and clean, I felt right at home and all my needs were met! The layout and decor are very nice! I especially enjoyed being so close to my daughter, son in law and our grandchildren! That was so fun and wonderful to me! Thanks so much Sandra and Mike!

Nice visit to the Smokys. If you are seeking a nice stay about an hour from the action Irma’s place will not disappoint. Time of year made it challenging to stay closer. This was our longest stay without a washer and dryer, we learned for future reservations to consider all the amenities. Irma was gracious on handling some mis-haps that we corrected after our stay. Outside of the neighbors that felt the need to honk their horns to motivate their kids, the place is a nice stay.

It’s a cute little house that had plenty of space for two. We felt safe in that area and really enjoyed it! No complaints!

Bill and Eileen were wonderful hosts! We had such a peaceful and amazing stay here. The booking process was easy and straightforward with wonderful communication timing and efficiency. Beyond that, their space is so welcoming and homey. We loved getting to see some of their old photos together as well as some beautiful decor pieces around the apartment. They had us some cookies laid out, more than enough towels and supplies, a very clean and tidy space, as well as a fun guest book filled with people from all over, the stories were so fun to read! The water pressure here is STELLAR, the property and house are just beautiful, and we were greeted by a beautiful pup, and who would ever complain about that? We appreciated Bill’s food recommendations, conversations, and friendliness so much as well as the list of free things to do in the area. I seriously could not say enough amazing things about this airbnb and Bill and Eileen! We would 100% stay here again!

We had an amazing vacation staying at Russ’s house in Tazewell! The house is beautiful and the view is amazing. The house was exactly like the description and had all the amenities that you would need on vacation! Russ is very friendly and responsive and gave us great local recommendations, especially visiting the Cumberland Gap! We highly recommend this house and would definitely book again!
