The Cozy Island Home sits on a half acre in a quiet neighborhood between historic downtown (1 mile to downtown connector bridge), and Folly Beach ( 3 miles to Folly Beach). There's no hotels on James Island which is the only connection to the beach. So, if you're looking to get close to Folly Beach, without the noise or paying hundreds of dollars per night, we'd be honored to host you. Our home is safe, quiet, cozy and deeply grounding. Nestled in a quiet suburb, we’re less than a ten minute drive to the Battery and historic district of downtown, and a fifteen minute drive to Folly Beach. The suite was built in 2023, and includes a multitude of amenities for your perfect trip. With beautiful floor to ceiling windows, the view has sweeping oaks and mature magnolias, setting the scene for your Southern getaway.

The Backpacker

Our "Backpacker" is a cute and cozy 96 sq.ft. of tiny house nirvana. Situated on a small tidal slough, it provides a beautiful natural setting for reflection and appreciation of that which is good in life. For those looking for luxury, the Backpacker is not for you (you may encounter bugs and it's really hot in summer). However, the Backpacker has a pretty cool vibe, and is extremely convenient to historic Charleston and Funky Folly Beach. The Backpacker is for backpackers and nature lovers.

This charming cottage is a haven tucked off of Folly Road. Only 5 minutes from Folly Beach and 8 minutes from downtown historical Charleston. The porch over looks the large lot that is framed in by four majestic Grand Oaks that are draped with Spanish Moss, hence how the cottage was named. While relaxing it is possible to see the occasional deer, turkey, racoon and fox.
