Our "Backpacker" is a cute and cozy 96 sq.ft. of tiny house nirvana. Situated on a small tidal slough, it provides a beautiful natural setting for reflection and appreciation of that which is good in life. For those looking for luxury, the Backpacker is not for you (you may encounter bugs and it's really hot in summer). However, the Backpacker has a pretty cool vibe, and is extremely convenient to historic Charleston and Funky Folly Beach. The Backpacker is for backpackers and nature lovers.

Our vintage '76 Airstream has everything you need for a comfortable stay including: full kitchen, full bath, heater & AC, tankless water heater, Smart TV, Wifi, memory foam mattresses & more! Nestled next to our creek, you'll enjoy sipping your morning coffee in our outdoor seating area. Just 15 mins to Folly Beach & 6 min to Downtown Charleston, we are in an ideal location. *Please note, this sleeps a max of 2 adults. The bunks are too small to accommodate more than that. Take in the peace, calm, and hospitality of Charleston at this small, quaint, stand-alone cottage. The studio is situated on our property and shares an outdoor lounge and dining area. Located in the neighborhood of Ashley Forest, a small corner of Avondale, you are walking distance to breweries, cafes, wine bars, sushi restaurants and more. Downtown is a 10 minute ride share away, and there is also a bus stop five minutes from the property that will take you to the heart of King Street.

The home is part of a duplex located in the center of James Island. There are 2 bedrooms, both with queen beds and 1 bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and dinnerware. There is a small back patio outside the sliding glass doors in the living room. The private driveway can accommodate 2 cars.

Grand Oaks Cottage: Ideal Location!

This charming cottage is a haven tucked off of Folly Road. Only 5 minutes from Folly Beach and 8 minutes from downtown historical Charleston. The porch over looks the large lot that is framed in by four majestic Grand Oaks that are draped with Spanish Moss, hence how the cottage was named. While relaxing it is possible to see the occasional deer, turkey, racoon and fox.
