Little Red Cabin

Peaceful location in the Greene/Sullivan Forest. Within 2 miles of over 30 stripper pits for some of the best fishing in southwest Indiana. Also excellent for a nice couple's get-a-way from the hustle and bustle of the city. This cabin is located in the forest so cell service can be very poor. I do have a cell phone booster on the fireplace which helps a little bit if you stand in front of it, but be aware that cell phone service is poor. Also keep in mind that we do not have Wi-Fi available.

Spend your day relaxing on the front porch, fishing from one of the 2 docks on the property, or bring your off-road vehicle along and head for adventure at Red Bird! We have a fire ring in the backyard-ready for relaxing evening campfires and story telling

Numerous nearby attractions are sure to provide great experiences (Cataract Falls, Exotic Feline Rescue Center, Terre Haute Casino, state parks, brewery/winery, local shops/eateries, etc.) And of course, simply enjoying time in and around the cabin itself is a fulfilling getaway!

Captain Bill’s Lake House/seasonal swimming pool

Captain Bill’s Lake House. This majestic A-frame is at the entrance to the Cataract Lake boat ramp. The house will accommodate up to 7 guests, with three bedrooms and two full baths. All guests have full access to Captain Bill’s shared heated pool and surrounding gardens. Boat parking is provided on the property, inquire for details. Heated pool is seasonal beginning Mid May through September.

Great, private place to get away for a few days with your spouse; or relax with the family while boating and swimming in our newly updated pond. We'd love to have you come and enjoy our little cabin in the woods and a pond that is just a 300 yard walk down the lane. The owner and family will occasionally spend time at the pond, but guests are welcome to use it at any time.
