Welcome to Sunna and Grandfather's Log Cabin_Sun. There are two themes of the sun. The first is "Looking at Gongaksan Mountain". I made the wall diagonal so that I could see Gongaksan Mountain, one of the 100 most famous mountains in Korea, and the sky above it. The second is "Breath, Rest". I didn't paint the room at all and finished it with cypress wood, hoping that the body and mind of those who stay can comfortably breathe and rest. Also, I tried to make the place feel as spacious as possible, and to feel like everything is connected, by not blocking it as much as possible. The Sun is a house that Sunna's father made himself, except for the sink and table set. If you comfortably sit on the deck or the window that the sun is proud of, you can enjoy the dance of the clouds and the wind spreading over Mt. Gongja and the sky above it. The wooden structure, which has stood for 86 years, has plenty to do with some crumbling spots. We saved the circle as much as possible with the hanok column, and we replaced some of the absences that we couldn't save, so that the past and present hang out in the wooden structure. Every space indoors was taken care to be visually communicated with the outside yard. The spacious bathroom space is designed to be the coziest place in this house. The National Baekdu Mountain Arboretum is a 1-minute walk away, and there is plenty of parking space, so it is good for a trip. Electric vehicle charging is also available at the arboretum parking lot. You can enjoy a walk and stargazing in the spacious yard and the quiet neighborhood. The bedroom has 2 single beds, so you can use them separately or together. There is also a queen size mattress in the loft space. You can also cook with a microwave and induction stove.
