Cabin in the orchard "Borghildbu"

In this place you live at the top of the orchard at the farm Påldtun. Here you can enjoy a nice view of the fjord and mountains. There is a short distance to the jetty. Here you can rent a boat and sauna or take a morning swim. You will experience life in the village with grazing animals and work that takes place in the season. When you stay in our orchard you are free to pick and eat the fruit that is on the farm. Short distance to Sandane city center. We accept bookings for mountain trips/fishing trips in our local area. The cabin is beautifully located by Jølstervannet, close to the E39 highway (this means traffic noise) in an area with scattered cabin buildings. Jølster offers beautiful nature good fishing opportunities in Jølstervannet which is known as a very good fishing water. Here is a great hiking terrain with marked hiking trails. From the cabin it is a short distance to the shop, golf course and Jølster ski centre. Jølster can offer cultural experiences, local crafts, art museum. From the cabin it is walking distance to Tindefjelle and Steinegga.

From the house you can rush down to the water and river, or follow the path to Skjorta (1470 meters above sea level) and several other mountain peaks with spectacular views. Eggjenipa, a popular tourist destination, is only 20 minutes away by car. It is about an hour to Olden, with a short distance to Loen and Stryn. Grocery store, petrol and charging station is about 10 minutes away by car.

It is about 44 km from Førde, 62 km from Sogndal. 500m from Jølstravatnet (30 km long Jølster lake), which is one of the best places for trout fishing in Norway.
