The cabin is beautifully located by Jølstervannet, right next to national highway E39 (this can cause traffic noise), an area with scattered cabins. Jølster offers beautiful nature and good fishing opportunities in Jølstervannet, which is known as a very good fishing lake. There is great hiking terrain here with marked hiking trails. From the cabin, it is a short distance to a shop, a golf course and Jølster ski centre. Jølster offers cultural experiences, local handicrafts and an art museum. From the cabin, Tindefjelle and Steinegga are within walking distance.

That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

Idyllic summer cottage by the waterfront in Jølster

Welcome to Jølster! This summer cottage is idyllically located on the waterfront at Jølstravatnet, with a stunning view. Enjoy late or active days in the immediate vicinity of both the sea and mountains. The outdoor area is large, and here you can enjoy long summer days, go out with the rowboat (included), swim in crystal clear water, try out SUP boards or kayak (which is also included). Here you are surrounded by high mountains, a lake, rivers and waterfalls. The area are good for trout fishing, and it's possible for the guests to rent a boat during the summer. If you like hiking, there are many great routs in the area. If you just are looking for silence and beautiful scenery, just sit down and enjoy!

Jolster sauna apartmens was renovated in 2020 and a spectacular electric sauna was build in. Guests can enjoy it without any ekstra fee! Jolster sauna apartments is located in Skei i Jolster, Vestland. Few minutes walk from grocery shop, mini bank, Audhild Viken souvenirs butikk, Circle K gas station and Thon hotel Jølster. It is about 44 km from Førde, 62 km from Sogndal. 500m from Jølstravatnet (30 km long Jølster lake), which is one of the best places for trout fishing in Norway.

Høyseth is a hidden gem located in the far end of Stardalen valley at the gateway to Jostadal glacier national park. Rent one of our simple and charming cabins that sleep 2-6 persons, put up your tent or park your caravan in the heart of West-Norwegian nature. The camping is an excellent starting point for hiking trips to Haugabreen glacier, Oldeskaret and Briksdalen during summer and Snønipa(1827m) for back country skiing in winter and spring.
