The delicious and award-winning goat cheese that won the "world cheese awards" in October 2023 was produced 50 m from the cabin. From mid-July, the goats are the cabin's closest neighbours. Here, you will also find Northern Europe's oldest and smallest stave church, built in 1147.

Enjoy the view of Lovatnet in this charming, little 28 SqM cabin. The cabin is equipped with books, board games and a Chromecast TV. It has 2 bedrooms with a bunk bed each, and an annex with a double bed. The toilet is inside the cabin, and a shower can be found in the annex. Keep in mind that there is no toilet in the annex. The camping is an excellent starting point for hiking trips to Haugabreen glacier, Oldeskaret and Briksdalen during summer and Snønipa(1827m) for back country skiing in winter and spring. If you need to relax, this cabin, in natural surroundings is perfect for you! The name of the cabin is "Urastova". On this former small farm you can enjoy the silence with sheep and sometimes deer close to the cottage. The new cottage is located a few minutes from the majestic sea cliff Hornelen. The area offers very good fishing opportunities and hiking in the woods and mountains. We have 2 kayaks, 1 canoe, motor boat and 2 SUP boards for rent if available and on request.
