Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Julian

Our stay here was perfect for our family of 8. The home had all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect to do all of the activities and sightseeing we had planned. Our host was very attentive and answered any questions we had almost immediately. I would recommend this home to anyone traveling to San Diego. Thanks to Shar.

Perfect location! 2 blocks to Main St. Stores, restaurants, breweries, market and convenience stores are all within a couple of minutes out the front door. The house was perfect, everything we could want or need. Kitchen is fully stocked with pans, pits and utensils. Backyard is so nice to hang out and enjoy the sunny day. All instructions are clear and easy to follow. We had a wonderful time. The sunsets off the front porch are beautiful. Highly recommend this rental. We will be back and will stay here again if available.

We loved our stay at Casa Colibri! It was everything we were looking for in our visit to Anza Borrego SP. We liked the outdoor living area. Even though the temps were unseasonably high during our stay, the covered porch area made it comfortable to sit outside. My older kids enjoyed the dart board in the garage. This and the board games were a great way to pass the hottest time of day! We also appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils. Nancy’s listing was absolutely perfect! Everyday we made breakfast and then ate outside in the back patio enjoying the birds. It felt like an oasis in the desert. I would definitely come back! Nancy was very attentive to any question I had and check-in was so easy.

The Perfect Holiday Stay: We had an amazing holiday at this Airbnb with 10 friends and kids. The location was ideal—close to restaurants, shopping, and attractions, making it convenient for everyone. The house was spacious, with large bedrooms, cozy living areas, and a fully equipped kitchen. It comfortably accommodated our group without feeling crowded. Families will love the kid-friendly amenities, including books, a play area, and essentials like a high chair. The kids were entertained while the adults enjoyed relaxing. The backyard was a standout feature—big, well-maintained, and perfect for BBQs, games, or unwinding. The kids had plenty of space to play, and the adults appreciated the serene setting. We also loved being close to excellent dining options, with everything from fine dining to casual eateries just minutes away. Caroline was exceptional—responding to questions within minutes and ensuring our stay was seamless. It made our holiday unforgettable!

We absolutely loved Lei's place for our family vacation. Our son is serving in the military and this place was perfect in every way. Close to base, beautiful backyard and spacious kitchen to enjoy meals together. We utilized the Blackstone grill that is available to use and now my husband wants one! Everything in the house was clearly marked for easy access of finding gadgets to use. They thought of everything in the kitchen from seasonings available, coffee, air fryers...there was nothing we were missing. Beds were extremely comfortable which was a huge plus since we had 3 generations traveling. The pool was a hit for our daughter and the hot tub was welcoming after a long day of exploring California. I thought the neighborhood was quite and felt very safe going for walks each day. Close enough to walk for a smoothie, coffee or groceries. Was one of our favorite airbnbs! Would highly recommend to others!

Very cute little house that had everything we needed. Enjoyed breakfasts and dinners at the outdoor table and loved the sweeping mountain views. Would definitely return!

This was the best location for the meeting our husbands attended in Escondido. The pools and hot tubs were very conveniently located. All the staff was very nice and they were Johnny on the spot when we needed anything. We overlooked the mountain from the 2nd floor balcony, had dinners on the patio and cooked all our meals in. It was really quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Kenneth and his wife are good communicators if you have questions. The setup is lovely, a bathroom and bedroom on each side of the unit, gathering place in the middle. Thanks for sharing your beautiful place with us! We hope to return in the future!! As advertised, a beautiful location with golf and spa opportunities nearby. Putting green is right outside the door. Private cottage has a useful and well-stocked kitchen, is smartly and comfortably decorated, and is attached to the home’s garage. Good WiFi, charging stations, and TV with a lot of options. Outdoor space is shared with the main home with stunning views of manicured golf course, pond, and clubhouse. Comfortable for a single or couple, it is a nice place and fun to watch golfers.

Susan is a great host and very responsive. The Welk is clean, quiet and comfortable. You will enjoy your stay!

It was such a beautiful stay and I highly recommend it although the dining area was locked so we weren’t able to enjoy it fully the place was so beautiful

The place was great! Unfortunately the jacuzzi was out of order that weekend and that was the main reason I had gotten this place haha, but nothing he can do about it. Besides that everything was great!

I truly recommend Rashmitha's space, super clean and quiet, just 5 minutes walk to the main street of Julian, we had an incredible time as a family, it is 20 minutes from Mount Laguna.

This place is absolutely DREAMY. The setting can not be beat and its so peaceful. The house is well stocked and had everything we needed and more. Everything was clean and comfortable. Jason was very responsive, kind and helpful. We enjoyed the the deck with family for Easter brunch, relaxing in the hammock swings, evening fires, walks to the pond, games and movies. Hoping to stay again soon!

Victoria's place is a real gem. It feels like a magical enchanted cottage. The location 2/3 of the way up Palomar mountain is majestic, and the views are to die for. One thing to know is that it can get cold up there in the mountain, even in late April, but it feels very cozy in the cottage because of the wood-burning stove, the blankets, and the board games. My friends and I liked it so much we're already planning when to come back.

I absolutely loved staying here! It was peaceful, the walking trails and access to nature were well beyond what I imagined, clean, and hosts are available and kind! I really enjoyed the sunset hike, the forest therapy trails, and even just relaxing on the front porch with a fenced area for my pup. Thank you and I hope to stay here again!

Had a nice cozy cabin stay that felt private but still very close to the town. The place is small, but had a good size bed and amenities to make your own food. :)

We had a wonderful couple of days in Julian in Aubrey's cabin as a family of 5. The scenery was stunning and we were close to a range of family-friendly walks in mountains and Anza-Borrego desert state park, as well as exploring Julian. Super cozy cabin and whole family was charmed. Aubrey was an excellent host and made everything so easy for us. Thanks again!

The on site manager was just a call away and was very helpful! The area had friendly people, we were able to enjoy a peaceful stay. I’ve stayed at a smaller place which was more expensive and didn’t have as many amenities included so this stay was definitely worth the price ! Great view of the stars while we roasted s’mores, over all a perfect weekend getaway trip!! <3

Pretty good place to stay if you have a large group. Having the two cabins with the communal yard makes it easy to situate everyone. Only downside is at least for me is I wasn’t getting any service, so just make sure your service provider lets you do WiFi calling or else you won’t be able to make calls or text. Wish check out time was a little later but over all I would stay again maybe even longer if the price is right. It was a great experience! :)

What a magical place! We are already planning our next trip back. Julia was an amazing host and was there to help with any questions within a minutes notice. The cabin is a magical place! I could stay here forever!
