Mont St Michel is just under an hour & the WWII beaches are 1.5 hrs away. Just down the road is a family friendly entertainment park open in summer months only. Plus wonderful orchards to visit for a calvados tasting.

Wake up to peace and quiet then take a stroll to the boulangerie for breakfast ,then perhaps later dine at one of the many friendly restaurants, cafes or bars. You will be delighted by the beautiful castle and stunning landscaped grounds that surround it .The area is very picturesque and full of charm and character. It's a great place to discover the real France and its culture.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Happy Valley is situated in the heart of the Normandy countryside at the end of a no-through road so no noisy passing traffic! It shares the site with our main home and 2 other gites. We're about 45 minutes from Mont St Michel; an hour from Bayeaux, Caen, Mayenne and Fougeres. It's another half an hour to the famous D-Day beaches. There are plenty of places to visit and things to do and of course lots of French markets and vide-greniers!

English and french television and WiFi are available and the kitchen includes a dishwasher and washing machine. We have a shared heated swimming pool (OPEN 2nd MAY UNTIL THE 14TH OF SEPTEMBER). Welcome to our cabin! Passionate about interior design and DIY, we have put our hearts and souls into renovating this little house to make it a unique place, where every object tells a story. You will be 10 minutes from Mont-Saint-Michel, 30 minutes from Fougères and its famous castle, 45 minutes from Saint-Malo (the ramparts) and Dinard, Dinan, etc., and 30 minutes from Jullouville and Granville. 20 minutes from Saint James American Cemetery.

In the heart of Lower Normandy, the cottage La Ch'tite Vallée awaits you at the exit of the village. Close to shops: Juvigny-le-Tertre, Saint-Hilaire-du-Harcouet, Avranches, Vire. Close to tourist centers: Mortain waterfalls, Voie Verte, Jullouville beach, museums, Châteaux, Mont Saint Michel. The house has its own entrance and an adjoining 50 m2 garden. You can meet the goats, ponies, chickens, cows and cats of the house.
