This room overlooks Sakurajima and Kinkowan Bay. It can be used by two people. 2 Japanese-style rooms with 8 tatami mats and a 6-tatami dining kitchen. The spacious wooden deck and the barbecue space next to it are covered. There is also a pizza oven, which can be used for consecutive nights. (BBQ and pizza are optional). You can experience outdoor cooking that you can't usually do. There are no houses around, so you can spend time with your family or group without hesitation. At night, if the weather is good, you can enjoy the Milky Way and the starry sky of each season. Large parking space for up to 6 vehicles! ★ There is one note and request. Tap water is supplied from a storage tank and is limited in use. Please limit baths and laundry to one each. (In case of consecutive nights, we will supply water every morning) It's a bit inconvenient, but I think you can enjoy the openness unique to this place. Sakurajima is one of the most active volcanoes in Japan! From the garden, you can often see the smoke from the volcano across the sea. Also along the nearby sea, you can enjoy the scenery of the unusual pot fields for making black vinegar, restaurants, and fishing at Fukuyama Port. In the lawn garden, children can run around barefoot, and adults can enjoy coffee and beer while feeling the refreshing breeze from the hills. Snapper Lock is a private cottage at the foot of Mt. Mocchomu in Onana, southern Yakushima. The nearest bus stop is a 6-minute walk. It is a quiet place surrounded by nature. The large living room of about 32 ㎡ can accommodate up to 5 people. (One is a sofa bed) The deck has an outdoor table and hammock, and a completely private forest spreads out. You can relax while taking a forest bath. Parking is also available for 2-3 vehicles. There is also a fire pit on the premises. The building was self-built by the owner. The building materials used are Japanese cedar and local cedar. The walls are plastered with lacquer, and the kitchen is made from recycled waste materials. We aim to be an inn that is friendly to both people and the environment, by not providing disposable amenities and keeping equipment to a minimum. There are insects and wild animals on Yakushima, so be careful to keep them out by closing the screens when you open the windows. Note: Several times a year, from 8 am to 9 am during the rainy season, large numbers of "feather ants" will appear on the island. They are attracted to lights, so we ask that you close the windows and turn off the lights in the room. Thank you for your understanding.

We do cleaning, but it is not suitable for those who want perfect quality and location like a hotel. In return, we will help you with the price. For reservations for two people, you will sleep together in a semi-double bed. If you need an extra futon, it can be provided for a cleaning fee of 1,500 yen. Please contact us.
