Our neighborhood abuts the Peterson Nature Preserve and is located across the street from the Kalamazoo River. Downtown Saugatuck is a short walk and the beaches are easy drives. Our adjacent one bedroom guesthouse may be available for rent (a fence with a gate separates the two homes) if more space is desired. Enjoy all amenities offered inside and out. All "A Step Away" guests receive a discount when shopping our local store during their stay. Lastly, we're dog friendly (w/approval & fee).

The separate bedroom has a queen-size bed and is located next to a small bathroom with vanity, toilet and shower. A spiral staircase leads up to a lofted area that provides another space to get away and relax, with twin mattresses on 2 separate built-in platforms.
