Here is a rural idyll, the rooster crows and hares and pheasants are sometimes seen in the meadow and in the garden. The apartment is located right next to the burial mound Målerhøj, which of course has its own history. Here it is beautiful and quiet and at night there are, on a clear night, thousands of stars in the sky. Møn is dark sky certified. Behind the house you can see the Fanefjord forest. Enjoy a relaxing holiday in the countryside – in a UNESCO biosphere reserve, close to the medieval town of Stege, near the water and surrounded by nature. We are a family consisting of a Danish-Japanese couple, two dogs, two cats, sheep, running ducks and chickens. We care about organic farming and sustainability, and we love growing our own vegetables and herbs in the garden. "Farm to table" Breakfast (Japanese or Danish) can be ordered no later than 4 pm the day before. Breakfast is not included in the price and is paid on site with either MobilePay or cash.

All year round, you can swim in the "Svenskerhullet" and Roneklint and the small fine island Maderne, which is owned by Nysø Castle. 10 km from Præstø. If you and your family need a break from the busy everyday life, Stihøj can help provide peace and quiet. We have 2 lovely rooms and a kitchen/living room with necessary kitchen utensils. We can also offer breakfast (DKK 85) and possibly a self-made packed lunch (DKK 40) to take on a trip. We are excited to welcome you to Møn.
