The building is made of natural materials such as plaster walls, rice husk floors, and bedrooms made of Hinoki wood from Mie Prefecture, so you can relax with peace of mind. In winter, you can use the wood stove. Special acoustic wooden speakers let you listen to music on records, CDs, and Bluetooth. You can also have a simple farming experience in the fields of the June Farm, where we grow pesticide-free vegetables. (Reservations required, fee applies) You can fully enjoy the blessings of nature that are different from your usual life in the city. You can cook for yourself using seasonal pesticide-free vegetables and Matsusaka beef from a nearby butcher shop. You can enjoy freshly ground coffee with a hand mill. Please come and stay in the post town where people in the Edo period used to stay for "commuting changes" and "Ise pilgrimage". This is a guest house in a 120-year-old house that was renovated with the concept of "nostalgic and new" in a town of Omi Hino merchants overlooking Mt. Mimaki in the Suzuka Mountains of Shiga Prefecture. Hino-cho's townscape is also nostalgic and heartwarming, In the corner of such a town, "Mt. Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. This is a traditional Japanese house built in the countryside of Iga, the home of the ninja. Although you can come by public transportation, it is more convenient to come by car as it is quite a rural area. The hot spring is 5 minutes by car. It takes 20 minutes by car to the castle town of Iga Ueno. 25 minutes to Mokumoku Farm. 30 minutes to Igayaki no Sato. 45 minutes to Suzuka Circuit. 50 minutes to Akame Shijuhachi Falls National Park. 1 hour to Ise Jingu. 1 hour to Horyuji Temple.

Our inn was apparently built in the early Showa period. We have renovated the bathroom and kitchen areas to make your stay more comfortable while still retaining the charm of the townhouse, such as the low ceilings and narrow, steep stairs. Why not try experiencing a bit of Kyoto life? Please note that we will charge a local accommodation tax (200 yen per person per night) in addition to the accommodation fee.
