We renovated a 100-year-old Kyoto townhouse to make it a little more modern. It is a house where you can feel a little of the history of my house, which was a former clinic, with the remnants of the Showa era. There is a small garden and an old piano. The house has two floors, but the part that can be rented is the completely independent first floor (about 66 square meters).The entrance is independent, and part of the garden is also private for guests. It is a 3-minute walk from Toji Temple, a 5-minute taxi ride from Kyoto Station, and a 20-minute walk from the center of the city, making it a convenient location for transportation to sightseeing spots. *The price shown first on the page is the price for one person.(The price varies depending on the day) For 2 or more people, there is an additional charge of 3,800 yen per person. In addition, accommodation tax is collected in Kyoto City, but the accommodation tax at this facility, 400 yen per guest per night, is included in the displayed accommodation fee. This is a renovated Kyomachi house near Gojo-zaka. A 100-year-old Kyomachi house has been transformed into a guest house where you can enjoy the atmosphere of the good old days. It is a luxurious natural material renovation that uses diatomaceous earth with deodorizing and humidity regulating effects, and unpolluted materials such as hinoki cypress and cedar, with attention to detail in the finish. The whole ceiling is covered with cypress, and the pillars, frames, and baseboards are also made of cypress, creating a space filled with the comfort of real natural materials and the scent of cypress. Reikaku Yasaka | Gion | Historical Machiya

Reikaku Yasaka was a building in ruins with the floor tilted by at least 30cm when we discovered this hidden jewel. The restoration was particularly difficult due to the state it was in but our craftsman’s determination to bring this Machiya back to its formal glory paid off for Reikaku Yasaka. kyoto villa soso (Near Kyoto station)

The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.
