This is an old private house that has been built for more than 100 years like a Kyoto townhouse on the Otaki-jo Castle Town Street, which is called Koedo in Boso. Otaki Castle (one of the Tokugawa Ieyasu Shitenno Honda) and nationally designated important cultural properties are preserved, and the old castle town, which is rare in Chiba, spreads nostalgia. The Otaki bamboo shoots are famous for their low bitterness and delicious flavour, and are best eaten from late March to late April. If you take another step, you will find a location with a sea, a mountain, a river, a valley, and a black hot spring.(Within 10-30 minutes by car) You can use it as a base to enjoy the nature of Boso.Lake Takataki is famous worldwide for its smelt fishing, the reversal of magnetism hundreds of thousands of years ago, and the Chibanian.(The visitor center is scheduled to open in 3 years) The facility is located overlooking the Isuzu River and is built on a bedrock foundation. When coming by car, it is 20 minutes from the Ichihara Tsurumai Interchange on the Ken-O Expressway. It takes 80 minutes by express bus from Tokyo Station to Otaki. It is less than 1 hour by car from Haneda Airport and 1 hour and 10 minutes by car from Narita Airport. Beautiful sandy beach right in front of you! There is a town pool right next door. You can spread a vinyl pool in the garden or parking lot! (I did when I was little!) 10-minute walk from the station. Both supermarkets and convenience stores are conveniently located a 7-minute walk away. BBQ BBQ grills, tables and chairs are available for free. Please bring your own charcoal, grill, ingredients, and condiments. BBQ is allowed until 8 pm. Please be considerate of the neighbors. - Large screen We have installed a 100-inch screen. It also serves as a television. You can watch Hikari TV and Amazon Prime Video. You can also play games on a large screen if you connect it with HDMI. ・ It is a private rental! Please relax and enjoy your stay in this private accommodation. Since we are renovating a villa that has been around since before the war, there may be some inconveniences (insects, sand, etc.). Old house / A trip to the good old Katsuura / Fishing spot / Near the beach

This is a "very old building" that seems to have been built in the early Showa era. It used to be a dried fish shop. It is a long row house with a very unique construction. The dirt floor right from the entrance, the strangely small living room, the steep stairs, the slightly sloping second floor, etc., are inconvenient everywhere. We renovated it to make it comfortable while preserving the appearance of the time. The location of the inn is in a good location, just behind Katsuura Asaichi Street, along the shopping district. It's close to Katsuura Port, so you can easily go fishing. In the morning, you can buy fresh vegetables and dried goods at the morning market, take a break at a locally famous coffee shop, visit a nearby temple, or bathe at Matsu-no-Yu, the oldest public bath in Chiba Prefecture! There are also various reasonably priced bars with good atmospheres nearby. It's a great place to relax under a tent while listening to the waves, and the whole family can enjoy themselves freely. Please come. Pets are limited to dogs up to 60 cm in length. It will be 2,000 yen per dog. Please let us know when you book if you are bringing a dog. (We have dog shampoo and sheets) Please do not let dogs into the Japanese-style room. The Konami Beach is right in front of you, so please remove any sand before entering the room. You can use the wood-burning fireplace from November to February of the following year. Please note that we use waste wood for firewood.
