Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Kawela Bay

Charles Place was perfect for for my family. The outdoor space was amazing , we sat outside almost every day to enjoy the beautiful weather, view, and we loved the BBQ and fire pit to sit around. All bathrooms were stocked with stuff that you sometimes forget on vacation. The beds were very comfy. Kitchen was very modern. We loved the water filter attached to the sink this made it easy for us to get water at anytime. The space comes along with plenty of beach supplies for 8 people which was very nice. The local beach was only a 5 minute drive from the property. Not a lot of restaurants but honestly the drive around the island was beautiful which distracted you from the drive time. Charles is an amazing responsive host which made it very easy to express any questions we had . We will definitely stay again if we come back to this island. Thanks for the great stay !

Fiquei muito satisfeito com minha estadia! O espaço é exatamente como nas fotos — limpo, bem cuidado e com uma decoração aconchegante que faz a gente se sentir em casa. A cama é super confortável, a cozinha tem tudo o que precisa, e o chuveiro é ótimo. A localização também é excelente, com fácil acesso a tudo. O anfitrião foi muito atencioso e respondeu rápido sempre que precisei. Com certeza voltaria!

Garret was a great host, very responsive and friendly. Had a great stay at his place, very close to the beach. The views are amazing around the home and had everything we needed at the house.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The views were spectacular, we loved having a nice backyard for picnics. Our host was incredibly responsive and helpful, giving us a warm welcome with delicious Hawaiian snacks. Host had beach items for us to use, including beach towels, snorkeling gear, toys and beach chairs- a huge plus for our family. We stayed here with our two young kids, and everyone enjoyed the experience. We highly recommend this location.

The house was great! The community within the gates was awesome! The host, was great! The residential area just outside the gated community was fine. The area along Farrington Hwy (Hwy 93), between Makaha Valley Road and south for about 8 or so miles, was riddled with beach front homelessness. Don’t expect to hit the beach in this area. We drove north to Makua Beach, which was nice and felt safe. We also spent time at the Kohola Lagoon in front of Aulani Disney Resort. Aulani was nice and the beach felt safe. The house itself is in good shape. There were some minor things, which happens with some careless guests. Joe provided very useful beach equipment. We used the towels, beach mats, snorkel gear, kids beach toys and took the umbrellas just in case. The washer and dryer were very helpful, to ready the towels and swim clothes for the next day. The exterior fourth bedroom was great for my oldest son. It has all you need. Overall, great house, great host and great amenities. Mahalo

우리 가족들은 이곳에서 정말 멋진 시간을 보냈습니다 호놀룰루에서 좀 멀고 차가 좀 막히긴 했지만 이곳에 오면 집처럼 느껴지는 편안함이 있습니다. 집기류 식기류 등이 완벽하게 갖추어져 있어서 가족들끼리 숙소에서 밥을 해 먹기 참 좋았습니다 숙소 주변 비치들도 좋아서 한적하게 즐길 수 있었고, 일몰을 감상하기 좋았습니다 앞 뒤의 산 풍경이 정말 멋집니다.

Our family considers this house a home away from home. Any and everything you need is available and the owner is super helpful/responsive. We love staying here and will on each of our trips. So far we have spent 18 days there through 2 separate vacations and would choose it every time over any other spot.

This house was perfect for our family vacation. Plenty of space to hang out with family. Kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms were well appointed. We felt safe because we were in a gated neighborhood. The washer and dryer were fantastic as well. The only thing that was bothersome, but not a dealbreaker, was the amount of flies. if we kept everything clean, it lessened the fly issue. Thank you again for a wonderful stay. We look forward to staying again.

This place is fabulous. The condo had everything needed for cooking. You could tell that the owner has gone the extra mile by all the little extras you find. Coffee, condiments, washing supplies and bathroom supplies were made available for us. The bed is very comfortable. Beach chairs and other beach items are also provided. And did I mention the VIEW is awesome.

A perfect, tranquil place to stay. My wife and I snuck up to the North Shore for a couple of nights before a conference in Honolulu. Catherine’s place is everything Honolulu is not - surrounded by wide open natural space and beautiful flora and fauna. The bed was very comfortable. The outdoor spaces were great places to read or play cards. Well stocked kitchen, clean bathroom, working appliances. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed for a week; loved the location & easy access to the things we did in the region. We did laundry regularly in the condo- very convenient! The property is quaint but well laid out & beautiful. It worked well for our group of 4 adults & an infant. The 2nd bed is in the living rm area which is something to consider based on who you travel with & your sleep schedules. We were up early most days so it worked fine for us. It is a comfortable bed but it’s also the couch when the group is together in the evenings . We did bring in the larger chairs from the sun room and that helped for additional seating. The beaches were fantastic & plentiful! We often went earlier in the mornings & again later in the day. There is a beach just beyond the banyan tree & it can also be accessed from the road outside the resort less than 1/2 a mile away, It felt like a private beach- we snorkeled and found turtles there. That was a highlight for us! We would definitely return!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time. The view was amazing and the pool was warm for our kids. The house was stocked with essentials and a gift of Hawaiian chocolate macadamia nuts. Host was responsive and check in was all via email and codes. Would def stay again!

Jeannie’s place was exactly as described in the listing! Cozy, comfortable, and a close walk to all of the turtle bay amenities. Highly recommended!

Our stay was wonderful! The bed is super comfortable. The amenities are great. We appreciated all the beach gear that was available for our use. The place was cute and clean. Loved it!

Peaceful beach. Good for swimming/snorkelling, turtles, coral reef, fish. Felt safe walking. Nice pool and of course right on the ocean , could hear the waves on the shore all the time. Beautiful lanai and view from lanai. All the equipment( portable beach chairs and beach towels) to enjoy beach with) Full kitchen well stocked with cookware, implements and dishes. Excellent use of space in condo design. Short drive to Ka’ena point state park with a trail, tidepools and monk seals, albatrosses and other nesting birds. We had a great time- weather couldn’t have been better. Thanks!!

We had a great time! Perfect location. Felt at home right away. Right on the beach. Restaurants and shops at the next door hotel were very convenient and great quality food. Recommend it big time!!

We had a great time! There are beautiful, swimmable beaches within walking distance (including walking with little kids) and great food trucks just down the road. The home was clean, comfortable, and easy to cook full meals in. Highly recommend!

Location, location, location! The inside of the condo is as it appears on the website. Comfortable. Nicely appointed kitchen. We didn’t cook while there, but it was well equipped. We loved having coffee in the morning on the screened in lanai, listening to the birds, waves and watching the chickens. A very short walk out the front door and you are on a great beach for swimming, snorkeling, walking. Emmanuel, the host, has all sorts of equipment stored on the lanai…boogie boards, beach chairs, snorkels , flippers. The pool was very cool, I don’t think it’s heated, but we did use it for laps. This is a great beach condo….simple, comfortable, great location. If you want upscale the Ritz Carlton is up the road. Emmanuel, the host, is responsive, accessible. We had a good experience at Punaluu and really hope to return soon .

great place for a family. only negative is the BBQ at the shared pool is charcoal so tough to use vs gas would be a lot more usable. just 10 min walk to the beach/hotel

This place was perfect! Super clean, incredibly comfortable, and in an unbeatable location. It was a surprise trip for our six-year-old son, and it couldn’t have been more special. Close to many beach options, restaurants, and everything we needed, but still peaceful. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay for a two night adventure on the North Shore. The home is in a terrific gated community right at turtle Bay. There’s an incredible golf course right behind the community and there is a beach you can walk to. That is about six minutes away. You are also right in the middle of all the great stuff you can do at the North Shore, including a short ride to the famous surf sites The home was excellent and very well appointed. They truly thought of everything. We would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Litan’s place! The house was very clean and modern. The community was nice and quiet. It was less than 15-min walk to turtle bay! We love it!

We had a perfect vacation at the condo! Everything we needed to relax and enjoy a private quiet vacation in an absolutely beautiful location. The view is unbelievable! Whales and Turtles so fun to watch! The beach is practically private! The homeless situation on the way there is alarming to see at first but the security at the condo is very good and once in Everything is good. We enjoyed the Country Cafe and Lanterns for good local food. We would recommend this with five stars!!

Just be sure and have a vehicle to get around in. We made the mistake of taking a taxi then had to take another one back so we could rent a car
