The cottage has a shower and hot water. Upstairs, there is a large double bed and mattresses. Downstairs, there's a bed and a couch. Bed linens and towels are included. Final cleaning is not included in the price, so please clean the cottage when you leave. It's nice to get to the cottage next time. The cabin has well water. The cottage has wifi.

Relax along the beautiful Kemijoki River in a nice log cabin from 1811. Renovated with modern amenities in 2021. In the yard, there is a new sauna/toilet and a barbecue hut and a sauna terrace. After the sauna, jump from the sandy beach into the fresh water of the Kemijoki River. On the beach, there is another sauna and a hot tub, which can be rented separately in the summer, as well as a gazebo, a barbecue area and a rowboat. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The property is a great place to stay for both travelers and work crews. The property has a sheltered and large yard that can accommodate even larger cars. There is a barbecue cabin in the yard. From the yard you can go sledding directly to the river and the sledding trails are about 2 km from the property. The center of Tornio and the Swedish border are about 6 km away. I live with my family in the same yard.

You can see Torne river and hear the rapids.

Our cottage is conveniently located along well-maintained roads, making it easily accessible. Situated near the river, the Swedish border is just across the water, allowing for a seamless journey into Sweden, perhaps via the ice road. The absence of unnecessary lights around provides the perfect setting for observing the Northern Lights. Spacious granny cottage with sauna for rent in the countryside of Kemijoki, near the old railway station. Good central location halfway between Kemi (69km) and Rovaniemi (50km) near the 4 road. If necessary, transport is arranged through us. Rowing boat and bicycles for renters. Local company offer different activities according to the seasons. Feel free to ask!
