Monthly Rentals in Keose

We loved staying in this very comfortable house with spectacular wrap-around views over islands, with mountains in the distance. We stayed over Christmas and enjoyed cooking in the kitchen which was well supplied with utensils and appliances. The house was warm and welcoming to come back to after wintry walks. It was close to Stornoway for shopping and to Callanish and other splendid places for great walks, whatever the weather. I am sure it would be even more splendid in summer when you could enjoy the deck and sun room. We’d love to come back!

Excellent, relaxing 2 night stay at Paul's charming yurt (built with his own hands!!). Very quiet and private, and with the added interest of the 5 resident peahens and peacock. Highly recommended stay. Great hosts. Thanks.

Where do I start, we had 3 days at the beautiful Heather Cottage and wished I had booked longer. Perfect in every way. Kathryn was the perfect host, went above and beyond to accommodate our stay. The house itself is very tidy, immaculate inside and out and very well looked after. The pictures don’t do it justice. Allot of work and love has obviously gone into the property and it really shows. There is everything you could possibly need, a perfect home away from home and we will definitely be back to stay again 💓

We had a great week at Oran na Cuthaig. The house is as described, spacious, very comfortable and with everything you might need. It provided an ideal base for our family (including dog) to explore Lewis & Harris. There are some nice walks from the house with gorgeous views (also from the house - the changing sky is mesmerising). The house is very central with most sights max 40 mins or so drive away. Favourites of ours were Bostadh, Uig and Mangarsta, Luskentyre, and Calanais. Stornoway is under 20 mins away (with fast EV chargers!). Another big hit was fantastic pizza from Crust only 10 mins away (perfect for swinging by on the way home from a day out but definitely worth advance ordering online if you can). Eleanor was a responsive and very helpful host. Thanks again for having us - we hope to be back!
