A must-experience stay! The beach access and the lawn overlooking the ocean were incredible—worth every penny. Staying here on a full moon night made it even more magical! Be sure to stock up on groceries and make use of the kitchen. Since this location is isolated and far from most places, plan ahead or ensure you have accessible transportation.

A very friendly and helpful host and beautiful gardens to relax in. The honesty is very near the beach where there are many nice cafes and restaurants. Laundry service is excellent. We would love to return again

We had a great stay at Swetha’s place. Giving it 5 stars for the location as the beach is only a few steps away. Her place is comfortable and clean and has all the basic necessary amenities.. the house also has a terrace is a great place to just sit either for a morning cup of tea and listen to the sound of the waves. This was a good short stay for our trip to Kannur.

Beautiful property. The beach is very close to the property and you can really enjoy a private time there with your family. Shamil was really helpful and responsive. He arranged an early checkin for us and was throughout very responsive to all the queries. The caretaker Varghese was very sweet and helpful and arranged whatever we needed during the stay. The nearby restaurants also delivers to the location and Swiggy was also available. Would recommend this if you need to live by beach side and want to have a peaceful time.

Extremely beautiful stay, nicely decorated, with lights. Wonderful access to the beach. Romantic beach chairs, pretty hammock and swing. The sea is visible from the bed too. The eating places are a little far from this location but it’s worth having the peace and quiet. The beach is also relatively secluded, and very clean and beautiful. House is kept clean. The caretaker is good. The breakfast was quite delayed on the first day as he brings it from far, it was also cold, maybe there was problem while bringing. Next day he gave us very tasty breakfast hot and on time.

Sherin was an outstanding host. Highly recommended. The house and location is second to none. The food her mum provided was excellent. She has the insider knowledge of all the events and rituals that happening locally and invited our small party to join - what a privilege!! This address and Sherin’s details is certainly one I will be keeping and I hope to visit at some stage in the not too distant future. Thanks again to Sherin and her family.

had an amazing stay at Sherly's , location is very peaceful, right next to sea, had amazing time with my wife. Our caretaker Julaj was very helpful and cooperative in making our stay wonderful.

We had an amazing stay at Deja Blu for my wedding! The house is designed in a beautiful Greek-style architecture, which was really cool to see—and we got some incredible wedding photos! Overall, we had a great time with family. Sara was an amazing host, always friendly and open for a little chitchat. Last but not least, the beach view was surreal, making it one of the best stays I’ve ever had.

Cabana Beach Resort at Cherai offers a perfect blend of comfort and natural beauty. With cozy, well-maintained rooms, excellent service, and a serene beachfront location, it’s an ideal spot for relaxation and beach party. The staff were really helpful, and the views of the Arabian Sea are stunning. The pool and the cabana set the mood for the perfect sundowner. The direct access to the beach from the property was a bonus . A great choice for a beach vacation.

It is a fantastic beach-facing property that offers a perfect blend of comfort and relaxation. The resort is well-maintained, and the rooms are exceptionally clean. One of the highlights was the pool and the hammock, which added to the overall serene experience. Merlin was great—very approachable and easy to reach. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway. Would love to visit again

how can I start.. Vinod ji and his family are super lovely and good took care of me like I am a family member. Krishna arranged about things to do , yoga session which was really great guru , took me to temple and famous ashram, checked on me always if I want anything. Shanmukha took care about got all the fresh seafood that I requested and made sure I wasn't felt left alone because I travelled alone. He also made the best masala chai in Kerala. Vinod ji was the one who answered me every messages promptly and took good care of any requests. And last but not least my star Yashodha. She cooks amazing food like magic. I will always miss her food. I wish I could take her home with me. 😊 😁

Beautiful 1950’s villa with a team of house staff led by Mr Cherian, who took care of everything including delivering amazing food from the sister hotel Eighth Bastion. Sumptuous breakfasts were provided at the hotel, or we could make our own with the provisions supplied (even our fussy 6 year old enjoyed the cornflakes and banana cake). Had a wonderful staycation, with daily music lessons at the Kerala Kathakali centre.

This was a true gem! The staff were incredibly helpful and responsive to any queries or requests. One of our family had mobility issues and we were provided with a wonderful wheel chair that was perfect to move around the property. It was lovely having g two outdoor spaces that were covered to enjoy the beautiful scenery. There was some furniture that is a bit dated and in need of replacement in one of the rooms, but the beds were excellent and the bathrooms were beautifully appointed. The location was away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas. There was a beach close by with hardly anyone on it, almost like having a private beach! Breakfast was provided, food was great! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff Highly recommend this for individuals as well as for larger groups

The owners are incredible! I booked this stay for my parents from the US, and they experienced exceptional warmth and hospitality. The hosts treated them like family, helping with food, rides, guidance, and heartfelt conversations. Their kindness made the trip truly special. I’m so grateful for everything they did—highly recommend!

The place was excellent, the view was second to none! Requesting Feroz to fry up some massive prawn and seafood was one of our highlights….highly recommend staying at the Outrigger!!!

We really enjoyed our stay with Dominic. We had some initial difficulties at the beginning but were able to sort them out quickly and were very satisfied in the end. The location is perfect and really only a jump away from the beach. Dominic is a relaxed and nice guy who recommended a few local things and organised a kayak tour during sunrise.

Superb location, pristine house- just like pics the beach is stone throw away. The host is extremely friendly, tried to align to all our requests. Would recommend & would be happy to be back again

The Anchor House is certainly a rare gem. Beautifully made and with a stunning view, it’s a perfect getaway from city life - it’s also a peaceful holiday spot for a group of friends on family (in my case, a cousins’ retreat). Shaji, the caretaker, is extremely helpful and just a call away. He also brings excellent home-cooked breakfasts. We’ll definitely come back to this property. Thank you for having us!
