Earth house holiday rentals in Kerala

Had a wonderful stay at Laiju's place. This place is exactly how he had described it. Had three days of blissful time doing yoga and going for long walks. The place is situated in the midst of greeny Wayanad. Mornings, Evenings and night were extra magical with the sounds of the forest overpowering you. Also must say, that it is a very responsible and sustainable trip - the ppl here actually live sustainability and not just talk about it - was pleasantly surprised to see no shower - having bath using bucket was refreshing and humbling. Last but not the least, Namita provided best home-cooked meals. That along with the pleasant company made the trip worth it. Will be coming back for sure.. Tip: plz ensure that you read about the place in detail. This place may not be for everyone. It is simple/minimalistic yet awesome. If you want to see the tourist attractions and party, skip this place.

Deepu and Sanitha were amazing hosts. We had a lovely stay. The place was pristine, peaceful, beautiful interiors, thoughtfully placed amenities and had everything we needed for our stay. Sanitha was kind enough to make us a lavish dinner as well. She was sweet enough to even pack us some cake for our journey. Breakfast in the morning was amazing too. The hosts gave us local recommendations for places to see, food to and everything in between. We felt taken care of in every aspect. We were able to sit at the Patio, relax and have a great time privately. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Would 100% recommend. I know I'm definitely staying here if in Kerala again. 😊

I found Solitude exactly as shown in the pictures. It was neat and clean and Kalesh was super helpful. I slept the best in many months and the food Kalesh brought was excellent. Would love to stay at Solitude again and highly recommend it.

Absolutely loved the 3 days spent at the Mountain Villa. I wish we could have spent 3 more days. I wanted spend time in the midst of nature and that is exactly what we got. In addition to what the place has to offer there are great people working at the property who made sure our stay was pleasant, comfortable and fun!

a special place has been created here - lovely landscaped garden areas and the mudhut itself was spacious, clean and very well presented. outside there were stunning mountain views. the meals were delicious and service was friendly (note that because of the remote location there isn't really anywhere else to dine). it is a long journey from kochi but absolutley worth it, highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in the Hobbit House. Muthu looked after us so well. He arranged trips and bought us lovely food. The service was exceptional. The accommodation was clean and peaceful. We didn’t even need a fan as the indoor temperature was perfect despite being hot outside. If you’re thinking about booking, don’t hesitate. It’s perfect.

mr. Nelson was super friendly property manager. the cook made us some amazing food for all 3 meals. they even setup a campfire on our request..the property has amazing views and is on a 5 acre farm. it's super private, cozy and has some well planned layout. definitely recommend for families and friends alike.

Great place so quirky and creative. The food was great. Staff super friendly , even breakfast delivered to the mud house. Pool was fantastic , and access to large outdoor pool, short walk or tuk tuk to town.
