Monthly Rentals in Kinder Scout

We had a wonderful 2 night stay in the cottage which was comfortable and had everything we needed, including a nice open fire with plenty of logs. The location is perfect for walking as the trails to Kinder reservoir and other trails are right on your doorstep. There is a lovely pub a short walk away and the food is really good. James is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the area, wished we could have stayed longer, but will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at The Piggery. The location was perfect – peaceful, with easy access to nearby walks and essentials. The amenities were just what we needed, and the property itself is beautiful, fitting perfectly into its surroundings. It was exactly right for our 2 night stay. Will and Lorna were great hosts and more than happy to help!

Fantastic place. We were very lucky with the weather so having breakfast in the lovely garden with the great views was a real treat. If you like walking, it couldn’t be better located. A steep walk up the hill across the road from the cottage gets you on to the ridge and gives you access to any walk you like- great ridge, Mam Tor, Edale, Jacob’s Ladder, Kinder Scout and the Pennine Way- we didn’t have to drive the car at all and walked each day from the cottage. Had a wonderful meal at the Old Hall Inn at Chinley.

Perfect homebase for walking in the Peak District. Views were lovely, the room had everything possibly needed to self cater - hobs, pans, slow cooker, microwave, cutting board, fridge, freezer, kettle and more! Washing up liquid and sponge too. It was the small touches that made it really shine, the chocolate on the bed - the instant coffee (I'd forgotten to bring mine, so a TOTAL lifesaver, thank you guys) as well as milk in the fridge. So considerate. The wifi was excellent, so we could plan what pubs we were aiming for post walks! The space was beautifully decorated, with plenty of space around the double bed - all in a very comfortable and cosy space. And most importantly we were greater and seen off by a friendly catto whom goes by the name of Jasper I believe. 100% be staying with you guys each time we come to the Peaks, which is yearly. Thank you for being such ace hosts!
