Holiday rentals with a kayak in Kings County

BEAUTIFUL! Honestly photos don't do this place justice. When I went, I thought it was a bit older but walking inside, OMG is the only word I can use. very cottagey but still modern. lots of board games, private beach and water front. file place inside and outside. the one outside is right next to the water which is even better. this place has AC too, We enjoyed ourselves and it was totally worth it. the only thing I can say that is important to anyone going, Make sure you have your google maps downloaded before you hit the dirt road. signal dies there completely. Second, talking about the dirt road, this road is very potted... the potholes are very small but there is a lot of them all over the road... nothing serious but It's worth to mention so you can drive slow to avoid any damage to your car. there is a convenient store 2 min past the dirt road on HYW and they have Wi-Fi if you get lost and owner is nice too. he would help... I totally recommend this place. enjoy your stay!

My wife and I really loved the place, it was better in person than in the pictures. It was so peaceful there, we can imagine that in the summer it must be even more beautiful. The place was very clean. Sid was very responsive when we needed him. We would definetly consider a return visit.

Mandy was an excellent host & we had a wonderful weekend in May with our family. Beautiful spot to unwind & enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake. Definitely would recommend.

The place was prestine and very modern. The bedrooms are spacious and beds are more comfy than home. Everything about the place was perfect including the kitchen which was well stocked with cookware. I would stay at this place again without a doubt.

We had a wonderful family getaway with our kids and our cat. The house is warm and welcoming, with an amazing view of the lake. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus, and the air hockey table was a fun way to spend time with the kids. We lit the fireplace, watched a movie, and ended the night cozied up with our two boys and our cat. It was a truly relaxing and memorable stay. Highly recommended! Georges is a kind and attentive host who checked in regularly to make sure everything was perfect. We will definitely be visiting again.

Overall, Excellent place! I had an amazing stay! The place was exactly as described clean, cozy, and in a great location. The host was super responsive and made check-in a breeze. All the little touches, from the comfy bed to the well-stocked kitchen, made it feel like a home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

I wish I could give Amy and her cottage a 10 star review ⭐️. I booked for the weekend to get myself, my sister and two nieces (aged 5 & 6) out of the city for a couple days. The girls don’t often get to have sleepovers together or experience nature in a meaningful way so Amy’s cottage was the perfect setting! Amy was so kind and made a special accommodation for us to check in early so the girls could enjoy the outdoors before the scheduled rain hit. It was beyond thoughtful and so appreciated! My sister and I felt so at home and loved the space. The girls thought it was the “coolest place ever” and the bunk beds were a highlight for them lol. They were devastated when it was time to go. We got to take a paddle on the lake, have cozy fires in the STUNNING living room at night and just enjoy each other’s company. We are already planning our next girls trip and hope this location will be available! We might even invite a couple more family members next time we enjoyed it so much! 🌟🌟

We had such a wonderful family gathering at the lake house. It is such a cozy cottage and guesthouse with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We've stayed at Airbnb's before, but this one supplied above and beyond our expectations. 13 of us were comfortably accommodated, with an extra mattress and blankets supplied for an additional bed for our youngest child. The kids had a blast with the lake right there and had such fun with the kayak and pedal-boat. There was even a little kids' table and chairs for them inside with colouring books and such thoughtfully supplied. Andrew was quick to respond to any questions and really made our stay an enjoyable one. If you want an absolutely beautiful peaceful place to stay with reasonable distance to some amazing sightseeing destinations, this is the place to choose!

We had a wonderful weekend at Martin's cottage. It was an idyllic cottage experience. Peaceful, beautiful surroundings with lots of nature (loons, ducks and frogs ). It is a great place to relax. There is a good swimming area and the lake was nice and warm. I will return next time I'm in Nova Scotia!

We loved this location! As a group of middle aged men looking for a simple retreat, this location was easily accessible, offered lots of beds, and had every convenience included.

This was the ultimate peaceful and quiet area to relax and unwind. We did not spent much time there because we were attending an event in the area. However, we enjoyed the quiet peaceful evenings sitting on the screened deck. I am sure it is beautful in the summer. Wish we could have stayed longer.

To say we were satisfied is an understatement. We most definitely will be booking again to utilize in the summer season. We rented this time to be closer to the venue holding my sons wedding, and having such a wonderful home and hosts made is so much easier on us ❤️

An amazing and peaceful escape to the woods. The cabin is perfect with a beautiful deck and view. Has just the right amount of comfort while allowing you to enjoy nature. Tina and Graham are fantastic hosts, kind people, and take pride in their perfect cabin in the woods. Our dog was welcome and comfortable with lots of space to explore, they even loaned us their visibility vests and a dog bed! We will definitely be coming back.

This was an amazing place to relax and enjoy the weekend. The wifi worked great the tv was great. Had many of the little things you often forget like spices for cooking and sugar, coffee, lots of large bowls etc. beds took up a lot of the room space but were very welcoming and comfortable. The deck was awesome large and lots of places to sit relax and enjoy the sun. The kayaks were fun and easy to use. The sandy launch was great. Fire pit was fun for our marshmallow roast. Hot tub was hot and enjoyable. Would definitely go another time. Black flies were swarming. Should have bring better bug spray but that was on us. Host was fast to answer questions and helpful with info. The local restaurants listed were closed but we had lots of our own food so we were fine but we went early May so maybe the season for them wasn’t open yet. Very peaceful and relaxing.

A little slice of heaven. The decor is so so cute and the lighting is perfectly cozy. The firepit area and the deck by the lake were such a vibe. The books, the games, the projector, the little fireplace and desk overlooking the forest and water in the room upstairs, the riddle, all the other little details... I loved everything and didn't want to leave!

We absolutely loved our stay over Easter weekend! Scott was very friendly and easy to connect with! It was a weekend of relaxation and connecting with nature! The hot tub was a great addition. Also the gorgeous wood work!! Also the sunrises from the loft were incredible!! We will definitely be coming back!
