Stable Studio at Airlie Castle

A bright and comfortable open-plan space on the first floor of the old stable block on the Airlie estate, in the spectacular Angus Glens. High beamed ceilings give a spacious feel to the main room. Everything here is made from Douglas Fir ply, including walls, floor and furniture. It'll feel very cosy here at night with the lamps lit, the wood fire and the large bed with feather pillows and wool blankets. The loo and bathroom are down 4 steps, please note no dividing door. Minimum stay 1 night.

Sitting on the terrace guests can enjoy the surrounding gardens and in the summer months some of our rare Longhorn cattle will be grazing the meadows beyond. To the east of the lawns is the woodland area, home to red squirrels and bounded by the wee burn which children can be a children's delight for paddling and exploring.
