Holiday rentals with lake access in Kitchener-Waterloo

We had a fantastic stay and would be more than happy to come again! The host was extremely nice and caring and the house is absolutely fabulous. From the views outside to the interior decorating this place was a dream come true. Thank you for having us!

Beautiful place, everything was great! The view is incredible and the place was clean, spacious and just as described. The beds were super comfortable, check-in was very simple and instructions were clear. Jennifer was responsive and friendly, great host! I highly recommend to others looking for a peaceful beach stay .

We had a great time staying at Terri’s place. The place was exactly as advertised, with all the bells and whistles. We loved being able to use the built in sound system and the kitchen was perfect for all the meals we made. Terri went above and beyond - super responsive and even got us some help when our car battery died. We will definitely be back!

Zainab was an amazing host... very respectful of our time. If anything was needed... we would just send a message and it was taken care of. Place was very clean. Wonderful she left snacks and treats plus cups if needed... extra touches like this goes a long way. Thank you so much!

Great space for our large group, with ample everthing. Kitchen was well provisioned with lots of tools. Thorough guides for all the amenities. Quick and proactive communication during the stay.

My family and I stayed here for two weeks with our newborn and pup while our home was being renovated. The layout of the house is beautiful and open with great natural light during the day which made for a very comfortable stay and felt like a home away from home. All the rooms are clean and beds were super comfy. Host was responsive and made sure we had things we needed and even had cleaning items delivered to the house that we requested. The house is located really close to the beach front trail which was great for daily walks and is conveniently located to the highway ramps for easy access to downtown Burlington, Hamilton or Niagara region. If you’re looking for great local burgers, Crooksy’s pub is just down the street. We would definitely stay here again.

This is by far the best Airbnb I have stayed at, and I am a frequent traveler. The house was quite spacious, it had every amenity we needed, and the lake views from all floors of the house were gorgeous. We loved having access to the lake so that we could walk the trail. I appreciated being able to check in at any time, because arrivals after long drives can be unpredictable. The hosts were extremely responsive, answering every question with clarity and quite quickly. They provided us with extra blankets and pillows when we requested them the very next day. I'm sure they might have tried to make it on the same day if we had checked in earlier, but we had arrived late at night. If this house is available, we plan to use it every time we visit the area.

We had a great stay at Bob's place. It was ideal for two couples. We walked to all the theaters and to local restaurants. The walk by the lake is lovely and the place was comfortable and very clean. Bob was a very helpful host. We had a great stay!

Wonderful, quirky place full of art with fantastic lake views. Eric was super friendly and responsive and gave us a great recommendation for breakfast!

My stay here was amazing. Everything was exactually as described. From a fully equipped kitchen, to the close proximity to the train station. My children loved the video games and the board games. I found the guidebook in the home to be especially helpful. The on-Street parking was close to the home and was free. The house rules and checking out instructions were both clear and reasonable. Simon had excellent communication, and proactively sent several messages both before the rental and while we were there to ensure everything went smoothly. I have no complaints whatsoever.

We travel to Stratford every year and have done so for about 30 years. We have stayed in a variety of accommodations over the years! We prefer Air BnBs over hotels, and because we travel in a group (we were 8), this location matched our needs perfectly. We like to park the car when we arrive and not use it again until we leave (Stratford is fantastically walkable) -- no problem! We like to try different restaurants -- the location is perfect for that (and for attending theatre). We're close family, but we also like some alone time -- with four bedrooms for 8 people, this apartment offered that! The apartment was large, open and bright with basic amenities suitable for our 2 night stay. The beds were comfortable, and the shared areas were roomy enough for us to gather. The hosts were amazingly responsive -- they provided detailed and accurate info ahead of time, and quickly answered our questions.

Another lovely stay at the Juno Lofts. Brendan is a wonderful host and we look forward to coming back to this property or another of his locations! Thank you Brendan, Happy New Year!

The Lake Suite at the Henry House was charming, as well as cozy and relaxing. The decor is lovely and is exactly as shown online. Many restaurants, cafes, taverns, etc. are located in the downtown area which is within walking distance so it is not always necessary to have to rely on your vehicle. A theater is even right around the corner! The parking option onsite (if available) is a wonderful add-on. The host, Brett, is very responsive and it is evident that he wants all of his guests to have a very enjoyable visit. I have family in the Stratford area and love having my own cozy space when visiting them. I am sure that I will return to the Henry House … it is a special treat for me and a wonderful place to stay!! Marsha H. Darien, Illinois, USA

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Hatem and Tonya’s place at 84 Burlington Street West! This home is a gem—beautifully designed with amazing amenities that made our trip so comfortable and enjoyable. The coffee and snacks were a lifesaver, and having a working washing machine and laundry was a huge plus. The attic room was my favorite—gorgeous and so cozy, I slept like a dream up there! Everything was spotless when we arrived, and the little touches really made it feel like home. Hatem was an incredible host—super responsive and even went out of his way to drop off a Roku remote when we needed it. You can tell they care about their guests’ experience. We left early due to work but made sure to tidy up, and it was easy to keep the place looking great. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could—highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect stay!

Tasha was amazing and extremely responsive. Anytime there were any small issues she was on top of it right away. She always gave us suggestions to ensure that we were having a good time and using all the tools she had. The location did not disappoint. Absolutely stunning waterfront. I highly recommend this property as a great vacation spot. Another note Tasha had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and on the property. Five stars!!

Grundy Cottage was exactly as posted and so lovely for our little getaway. It had the peace and quiet of the country while being close enough to other towns for day trips and drives. Robert was a wonderful host, always quick to respond with any questions and helpful with local activity and food recommendations. I would recommend this place to other couples looking to rest and relax from a busy work week or just as somewhere to escape for a few days!

We spent our days in the busy city and needed a quiet, peaceful place to unwind each evening. This was exactly what we needed - and our gracious host patiently addressed all of our concerns, and answered all of our questions. My wife and I especially enjoyed sitting by the private pond and watching the geese.
