The views from the large windows and deck are stunning. Try some fishing, skating, kayaking, swimming or walk the trails. Grilling on the deck or a bonfire ( ask for firewood) overlooking the lake are great evening activities. Not the outdoor type, you’ll find this a peaceful place to unwind. Located 13 miles from Wasilla makes this spot ideal as your hub to exploring Alaska. We are happy to host your pets(dogs only) pets not allowed in any beds. Excessive pet hair will be charged $50.

Settlers Mountain View Retreat

This private entrance unit is the entire lower level of our home. We live upstairs. One bedroom has a twin bunk bed and queen bed. The second bedroom has a king bed. The space includes a bathroom with jacuzzi tub, a mini kitchen with microwave, small refrigerator, coffee and tea. and a large living room with a cozy gas fireplace, reclining sofas and a tv for streaming and dvds only. A fire pit and outside grill are available.
